    • @websurfer476 he has a big ego, seems like he spends more time on what to spend his money on than what he used to when he didnt have money, meaning he isnt as hungry. many fighters have fallen to money as so many more issues arise with it. not an izzy hater but i think pereria is highly underrated, would like to see him and vakhitov do another kickboxing bout but alas adesanya said some words that gave pereria a chance in the ufc, other wise he wouldve just been happy doing an mma fight here, and a kb fight there. kinda like what gabriel varga does. respect to every single fighter i just named because theyre clearly crazily in love with the sport and are willing to cross into any combat sport against any reasonable opponent, the reason you find aussies and new zealanders crossing into other weight classes is cause we live next to thai land the home of muay thai so we get pretty crazy in oce. i mean look at that heavy weight aus, when i used to train there were two ex ufc fighters in perth at the time (now we have a current one) but the one who i trained with told me about the other one and their private classes and that they were brutal heavy weights, only years later seeing that guy fight, it made sense why my gym had these big guys who could throw light but were heavy heavy sparring gods, they mustve sparred with them a bit. (not sure if adesanya still has that love for it there for the sport tho)

  • Man im not really a fan of Usman. But he needs way more respect. He was really trying to go for goathood. He was the most active fighter in the welterweight division as the champion. That is freaking crazy. He was dominating the fight too. It's sucks watching him lose like that. As a fan of fighting. It is impossible not respect the level he is on.

    • It’s partly his fault for why he lost. After Leon got that takedown in the first round and was the first to land a takedown on Usman in the UFC. Usman took it personally and tried to make a example out of Leon by grinding him out and tryna break his spirit for 4 more rounds. It almost worked, Usman started coasting in the last few minutes and got caught. That’s on him for not ending it earlier when he had the opportunity to
