    • I'm 50 and been doing combat sports since I was a teen and coaching for the last 2 decades. I have trained, coached, and been to countless MMA events and met some of the world's greatest fighters. I can say unequivocally that the baddest, toughest, men are all regular human beings, even nice guys, friendly, warm - no mean-mugging, no acting tough with puffed out chests. In fact, whenever you see the mean-mugging, the stinkeye, the puffed out chest it's peacocking - the posture of people with low confidence. When you KNOW you are a badass, you don't feel the need to scare people off, but the opposite is true for people with low self-esteem - you want to scare and intimidate people because you're scared. As for choosing between the two fighters - who says you have to choose? I like both fighters, I'll be rooting for both fighters, I'm hoping for a great fight and both come out with their health intact. It sucks that someone has to leave with a loss on their record, but there's no loser in this fight.
