Islam is the least hit fighter in the UFC and with the highest striking accuracy. What's there to be surprised about? Islam clearly outclassed Volk in this department. What people failed to understand is that striking isn't about throwing fancy kicks ala Stephen Thompson or slappy combos or constantly changing stances only to confuse yourself more than you confuse your opponent. It's about not getting hit and know when to hit while delivering the power.
