Someone like GSP or Mighty Mouse would never sucker punch anyone even if they were in Masvidal's place. I feel like fighters like Jorge are just emotionally immature.

  • As much as people hate on him, the irony is he never really changed who he was. He always had a hood mentality and represented his Cuban immigrant heritage . It was only after his Usman loss did everyone start to turn on him and criticize him for the same things they praised after his flying knee ko. Think about it, after his ko over Till and his iconic backstage “ 3 piece and a soda “ incident with Leon, everyone praised him for his “ on sight” street mentality for approaching Leon on the spot, then when he almost got into it with Kevin Holland backstage before his final fight in Miami all of a sudden it was “ your a grown man still getting into street fights “ . When your winning your on top of the world and you can’t do no wrong but the second you lose everyone hates you for the same thing they praised you for. Sure Jorge did let his fame get to him a little but at the same time the things he did that gets criticized now including the Colby incident at the restaurant is exactly what he would have done even if he never got famous. He’s a Miami street kid that came from a Cuban immigrant family escaping the Fidel Castro communist tyranny , grew up in poverty fighting in the streets , rose to fame and fortune in one year and just like that it went but yet he still remains the same. As much as he used the Scarface gimmic a lot, Dude really is like a real life Tony Montana lol.
