You can attempt to justify mcgreggors win based off of scorecard but no where in any UFC rule book does it say that a fighter lost because of a bloody face It's a sport were two people are bashing into each other faces both took some hard punches but Nate has soft scar tissue that's how the Diaz brothers like to fight with blood all over their faves

McGregor wasn't running.. It was strategic. Nate's got 25lbs on Conor and was non-stop trying to hold and clinch his much smaller opponent. Conor out smarted him and didn't allow the bigger man to smother him. Furthermore, giving him more time to catch his breath and go back for more

Serious. Conor wasnt playing into Nate's game. Its not like Nate doesnt get just as much of a break if Conor is walking away. Conor was just trying to avoid the clinch. Also what about the fact that Nate tried to just lay there on the floor after getting knocked down, TWICE. He does just as much "bullshit" as Conor. If your opponent wants to let you get up you HAVE to get up, there is no option of laying there on the fucking floor lol. It was a very even fight, but Conor won and deserved to win. It wasn't at all close. Connor defended like 5 takedowns, knocked him down like 4 times, landed an absurd amount of leg kicks, and got almost 100% of the power shots. Little tap hits in a clinch don't win a fight... and that is why Nate lost... because probably 40% of his hits were tap hits in the clinch on the fence.

I agree that Conor won the fight, but I think Nate put up a really good fight. At the end Nate took him down, if he had 60 more seconds, he would've had him. Conor's ground-game isn't as strong as Nate's in my opinion. I'm ready for 3.

+docotork ive watched the entire fight, nate only rocked conor a few times very heavily which made him win maybe 2 rounds, but in between conor was dominating with legkicks and landing the counters and punches alot better throughout the majority of the fight. U cant win fights just by a few short bursts of punches, Nate shouldve knocked or choked conor out in the last round but he didnt so conor won. im not sure if u watched the entire fight or skipped entire sections of it

If you say conor won thats crazy unless they score takedowns as 20+ points now which they dont. I wanted conor to win but he honestly didnt. The UFC is the most successful combat sport organization because they give the fans what they want. which includes post fight interviews. My god the immaturity in the comments is ridiculous. Kudos to both fighters for giving us one of the best fights in the UFC. It was neck and neck and Connor won based on the cleaner strikes, but Nate gave him one hell of a long and grueling fight. Nate kept pushing forward despite sustaining accurate strikes from Connor. Connor was getting overwhelmed but played it smart by pacing himself and moving away from Nate to pull himself together and time his shots. It was a close fight, but I am just glad that we as fans witnessed such a spectacle.

I actually think the first 2 rounds were 10 - 8 rounds for McGregor. Diaz had a flurry at the end if the second round but there were mostly glancing or missing blows. McGregor was rolling and shifting with the punchings and making him miss a lot.

It wasn't at all close. Connor defended like 5 takedowns, knocked him down like 4 times, landed an absurd amount of leg kicks, and got almost 100% of the power shots. Little tap hits in a clinch don't win a fight... and that is why Nate lost... because probably 40% of his hits were tap hits in the clinch on the fence.
I agree that Conor won the fight, but I think Nate put up a really good fight. At the end Nate took him down, if he had 60 more seconds, he would've had him. Conor's ground-game isn't as strong as Nate's in my opinion. I'm ready for 3.

It was neck and neck and Connor won based on the cleaner strikes, but Nate gave him one hell of a long and grueling fight. Nate kept pushing forward despite sustaining accurate strikes from Connor. Connor was getting overwhelmed but played it smart by pacing himself and moving away from Nate to pull himself together and time his shots. It was a close fight, but I am just glad that we as fans witnessed such a spectacle.

I actually think the first 2 rounds were 10 - 8 rounds for McGregor. Diaz had a flurry at the end if the second round but there were mostly glancing or missing blows. McGregor was rolling and shifting with the punchings and making him miss a lot.
i got to say, Nate got the best will and stamina of any fighter. I thought he had it when Connor was slowing down as much as he was in the third round, but this time he couldn't finish it on the ground. Hoping for fight nr3, even though i don't think we'll see it. Kinda funny when Nate saw Connor slowing down, responding to him with open arms and flipping him off. They sure as hell know how to entertain the ufc crowd.
