Both statements can be true...the fights with Colby 100% caused the decline in Usman. To say otherwise just shows a lack of understanding. Up until that point Kamarua was dominating everyone he fought. Colby was the only person to actually push and challenge him. Obviously Colby still lost because Usman was still just better than him overall. But had Leon fought Usman before Colby did twice, Leon wouldn't have won.
