    • @@KletusthetightlippedacademicImpressive, but Jon would never accept this challenge. Jon left the LHW division immediately after losing to Reyes and nearly being finished by Santos. Had Santos not blown out his knees, he would have KO’d JBJ. Furthermore, he failed his drug tests during BOTH fights against DC. That’s a tarnished record for the supposed “GOAT.” If that wasn’t illuminating enough, Jones waited years to join the HW division. Years. He said he’s ready to fight for the belt the week Ngannou was stripped… And now he’s planning his retirement before facing more than two HW fighters, neither of which are the most dangerous. Jon is a fantastic fighter. But like McGregor, he’s a better opportunist. New age fighters were catching up to him at LHW when he wasn’t cheating. And he is refusing to fight both of the most naturally dangerous men in HW history.

Still, I'd love to see him fight an opponent where the fight goes beyond the first round. It would be interesting to see if Pavlovich maintains the speed and intensity as the rounds progress.
