he's not the same anymore, he's getting old and lacks cardio but at least he made Hill work to get it. Both of them were absolutely exhausted at the end of the fight. We finally saw Santos use his grappling and Hills TDD and defensive grappling and since both men are strikers and not wrestlers their cardio was taxed and it showed

Never realized how technically perfect the setup for the first kick was. He actually loads his hips while he throws the first jab. Kinda sneaking it under the radar. I'm sure there was more setup beyond that but it was so smooth and he didn't telegraph it at all
You can see guys afraid to try to counter him. The way he uses that to play his game and set them up low and high is brilliant

Santos has always been one of the most intimidating fighters ever imo. The man looks like a killer, has the KO power in his hands, his kicks could send one to the shadow realm, his speed is there too, but most of all he always looks calm. Absolute beast 🔥
