  • Colby sold himself out for a character. Disrespected Usman's deceased coach just a year after his death, took a shot at Matt Hughes about his accident, spoke on Masvidal's family, bragged about a supposed affair with Polyana, called Brazil a dump and Brazilians filthy animals, insulted Leon's murdered father, and so much more BS all for money. He made funds but lost almost everything of true value, including his friends and teammates. Sure it helped his career and gained him lots of shallow fans, but with one loss, look how they all turned on him and booed him out of the arena. That's what he gets for throwing respect and honor out for money and attention.

  • People go on about Shavkat being 18-0, which is very impressive, I think the man is incredible - but you must remember one of Leon's losses was a DQ and another was a split decision he would have won with today's scoring system. Leon could very well be 25 - 1 with his only loss being avenged twice, and to the consensus second greatest welterweights of all time, Shavkat's 18-0 kind of pales in comparison, although all finishes make it a little closer. I would favour Leon based off Shavkat having to gut-out that stand-up fight with Neal and having a tough time getting Wonderboy down. I absolutely cannot wait for the fight though! (Honestly not that interested in the Belal rematch, I see it going how the first fight was going.)

    • Can't be compared. Kickbox pointfighters like Adesanya and Leon are great sportsmen.. but they also very often have boring performances. And.. being boring is hugely detrimental to a sport that thrives on short clips. That's why Leon had to wait for so long to get a titlefight. Clearly we see that match history doesn't matter much.

He'd never be able to recover from being an eternal meme. He seemed more satisfied losing the decision than taking risks to win. His facial expression when Buffer announced the victor was obviously planned, he knew perfectly well that he lost.
