UFC 223 Embedded: Vlog Series - Episode 2

2024 ж. 16 Мам.
2 157 404 Рет қаралды

On Episode 2 of UFC 223 Embedded, former strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk learns of the change to the main event on her way to New York and weighs whether it’s all an elaborate April Fools’ joke. In snowy Brooklyn, lightweight title contender Khabib Nurmagomedov continues training and doing media, grateful to have an opponent. Strawweight champion Rose Namajunas shows off her compost garden and dodges tennis balls in Colorado. Featherweight champion Max Holloway lands on the East Coast and promptly hits the gym, where he’s quickly surrounded by members of his opponent’s camp -- and Khabib himself. UFC 223 Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog leading up to the two championship bouts at UFC 223: Khabib vs. Holloway on Saturday, April 7 on Pay-Per-View.

    • Tripper Harrison it's not a win/win if Khabib dominates him. He will still have the belt but it's not a good look for a champion to get fucked up even in another weight class. This is risky business here but Max really thinks he can win, much respect.

Khabib fights journeyman Darrell Horcher March 4, 2017- khabib can't make weight for a date he signed a contract saying he would be ready for. Both fight different opponents (Vannata, Johnson) April 7 2018- tony tears knee comes back 6 months from catastrophic knee surgery and fights on khabib vs Connor card same night.

    • Jonathan Jimenez April 18 2020- khabib has every accommodation to be ready for the fight even during pandemic. He had entire AKA gym to himself. Leaves to Russia literally day before ban knowing the fight would be canceled. Like I said that's 3-2 so I would know exactly what I'm talking before calling people dumb. 2-3 times which one is it? • Fadz Max would KO, Conor now in a 5 round fight Conor would gas and get his ass KO’d by the 5th round but oh well Conor’s done and is a bitch now he’d never step in on short notice or even at all against Khabib what happened to Conor being ready to step in if Khabib or Tony got pulled off the card? Yeah he’s definitely scared of Khabib and Tony...Conor ain’t no real champ he’s stripped for being a pussy.

    • Fadz he fought for 8 rounds but was gassed after like 4 (going off of memory so correct me if I'm wrong). So in no visible way was his cardio better for that fight, and there's no good reason to assume his cardio got better after that fight.

Option B- throw jermall charlo in there because he's been making a lot of noise at middleweight. Or option C what I'm hoping for is they put billy joe Saunders in there so they can finally unify the middleweight division and put all the belts on the line so we can finally crown an undisputed champion at middleweight which hasn't happened since jermain Taylor beat Bernard Hopkins in 2005👍🏻

He also got FINISHED by the 149 pound, over the hill boxer who couldn't finish any of his last 10+ opponents who came out of a 2 year retirement, without his head coach. Get the chicken king's Mcnuggets out your mouth. Realize Connor is all flash, and no backbone. He's out here pretending like he'll step in last minute and fight, but hide behind Daddy Dana's excuses for him not taking this fight. Max stepped up, he deserves way more respect than Coner would ever get. Conor did it for the money, not for the competition. Remember that.

Why would the ufc throw their biggest star in there with only 6 days to promote LOL. Conor beat top guys and earned it. Even the fighters agree. Also fighters in the UFC are outrageously underpaid. In fact, I’m glad Conor and his legal team are being stubborn about his next payday. These are professional athletes who should be paid like professionals. Instead it’s turning into entertainment because everyone tries to act like Conor but can’t produce, thus making the sport look bad.

  • Obviously Dana is trying to save khabib’s padded record, or else he would have contacted Lord artem instead of max

    • Don't worry. After Artem beats Alex this Sat, he'll be next in line for the winner of Stipe vs. DC.

    • I see these comments about artem all over the posts and I am a little confused. Are you guys serious about him being able to take khabib because in my opinion he has no chance.

    • The Journalist met him last year. He is huge. How he makes featherweight is beyond me. Not exaggerating, he is the same size as alot of bigger welterweights and smaller middlewights at the smaller pro organizations
