I remember seeing Nate at my local gym, Combat Sports Academy, in Dublin, CA, not long before this fight. I was star-struck, to say the least, but I wanted to keep my cool. The next thing I knew, he was gearing up right next to me in this little changing room we had for putting on our muay-thai gloves/shin pads, bjj gis, etc. After finishing my muay-thai class, I moved onto bjj, which I had only been learning for about a week. Nate ended up being the special guest instructor and was teaching us all kinds of complicated moves, haha. I was on the ground rolling with someone, trying my best to replicate what he taught us, and he came over to me and gave me a few pointers. I really regret not talking to him more and maybe even getting a picture with him for my mom. She's a big Nick and Nate Diaz fan. Nate being such a class act at the end, despite the build up and trash talk prior, is really heartwarming to see. I absoloutely love Nate. His brother Nick was one of the first ones( along with BJ Penn) that gave me a different and better understanding of real fighting and how fighting isn't this strongman contest. Became absoloutely obsessed and if you're new to the game but really love it I suggest going back and watching Nick's old fights, training footage, and interviews. He's not the most articulate but man he has a good understanding and mind for fighting. A great teacher as well! The Diaz brothers style is geared more towards no time limit no weight classes like the old school UFC days which Nick was essentially brought up on as a young teen possibly even pre-teen so his persepective on fighting is very OG UFC and based more on realistic street fight scenarios and he's passed that on to Nate. Dudes are really MMA legends. I like Khamzat a lot but I'm hoping Nate gets the win. Huge respect to Nate for taking the fight as well because Khamzat is a monster and naturally bigger than Nate but I think the Diaz camp and most likely Nick see something they can exploit and get the win. “You knocked out three midgets and now you tough” 😂 I rofl when he said that
Conor - I bounce heads off the canvas every time Nate - Against a normal sized human being
Nate punching Conor’s head into place (<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="618">10:18</a>) will always be one of my favorite Diaz/ufc moments of all time. Shit makes me chuckle every time 😂
😂😂😂😂
RNP == Rear Naked Punch
I didn't notice that good call
Lol
”Get in there mf”
“Good left hand from Connor“ “he just misses” lmao
I've watched this a gazillion times and it always feels like the first. Iconic Nate throwing his arms after a Stockton slap stunner. Never seizes to amaze me. Nate Hall of fame
I will never forget the silence that went through the bar I was at when he choked him out.. Nate will forever be a legend for pulling it off the way he did. 👍👏
Silence? the fools didn't understand Nate's game!
the boy got lucky

@@dylandorman4256 cocknor fans are always like this, even when he lost against khabib his fans always say lucky 🤣
@@Faustian_ Mc Gregor got lucky it was a street fight or he could have been cooked to death HAHAHAHAHAHAH
Nate is such a badass, I love how he had no intention of taking this fight to the ground even though everyone knows how easy the finish would be for him. He was probably so surprised when Conor dove at him.
If it wasn’t that easy for Khabib, then it definitely wouldn’t be for Nate either lmao. Nate has zero wrestling, so it’s not like he had the option to take it to the ground whenever he wanted.
"Oh, so you're a wrestler now?" 🤣
@@amgbenz0664 it wasn't easy for khabib? What planet do you live on
@@eyeballpaul700 if it was easy khabib would’ve done it round 1
if conor had a gass tank this fight would have been an murder
Anytime I feel like seeing McNugget get smashed and choked out, I come to this and it never fails to put a smile on my face. I didn't like Nate before, but he grew on me and I realized he puts all his heart into his fights. I guess that is why so many people like him. Respect.
So would have thought that Nate Diaz became the more likable and level geaded guy compared to Conor 😅 and Nate never went to prison lol
This was really a once in a lifetime period for the people who were following it....unbelievable emotions.💥💯🇹🇹 Thanks for the 1k+ likes guys
Yeah, I’m grateful for it all. It was such an exciting time.

Grandioso, titánico, enorme Nate Díaz ❤❤❤❤❤❤
It never gets old “you’ve taken everything I’ve worked for motherfucker” and then he came and took it back. Nate, just doesn’t get better.
McGregor gave him more than he would have earned in 5 careers otherwise.

I can rewatch this fight over and over! That last punch before Nate sinks in the choke is absolutely savage 👊 💯
I've probably watched this like 20 times. Love seeing connor get beat lmao
I drink 2 beers....I have to rewatch and I have plenty beers a day my boy, Im not surprised motherfucker!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@dracula2749 Me too
So coordinated and concise when it comes to jiu jitsu, that hit was strategically thrown to place Connors head right into Nates forearm and an insta rear naked choke ensued 💪 💪 absolute savage, he needa whip that lil boy Jake Paul’s ass or else I’m forever believe boxing is rigged and MMA reigns supreme
Nate's skill: Health 50% = deals 150% damage

One of the best matches in UFC. It will remain as a History. Best performance by both. And it felt like, Connor had him win by seeing his genuine fighting skills. They understood each other through the langue of fight. Respect for both.
I laugh everytime I see Nate’s crazy ass slapping Conor. Truly a wild man
Love the b!tch slaps. Even Connor had to laugh.
I love how Nate beat him at his own game.. touched Conor up, out toughed him, rocked him and made him panic shoot, smashed him untill Conor gave up ..
a round 1 conor mcgregor is probably the most skilled flashiest fighter ive ever seen in MMA history, its to bad he doesnt have a gas tank. theres no denying the guy was a once in a life time performer/entertainer
@@bigbadbootydaddy616 he throws too much power, his style is like a sprint, fast and explosive but will make him tired quickly. Its not as much as cardio issue as it is style issue. Chandler has the same problem too
Nate diaz cause he is very resistant solid to damages due to his specific genetics This is something often neglicted in fight. solidity to damages Some people you throw 1 lightly powerfyll punch they get droped and need to go to hospital And some people you can throw 20 very powerfull punch and they still up. They dont even look hurt after the fight they just clean up and enjoy the rest of the day lol
No just stop Diaz only won this one round but he still tapped but not at his own game Conor ain't a grappler...
i love how you typed out what we all just saw, how useless are you man
The Diaz brothers are Animals! We love them!
I've seen this fight at least 50 times and I love it I love every minute of it❤❤❤
