    • He fought legit Midgets, Chad and Aldo are 135 lb fighters, 5"5. Chad was on TWO weeks notice and the "midget" was beating his ass till he has no gas left from lack of time to prepare. UFC knew what they were doing and stacked the deck in his favor. I don't blame them, but you can't compare that run to some of the other greats imo.

    • That logic doesn't apply to the greats though... Why? Because it's a free bag. If you're so good and you know it, you're going to keep getting that money and beating on people. You can never have enough money, especially when you're a rich man. Its always about more and more and nobody is going to pass up more money. Also, if you truly love the game or your profession, that motivation, drive, determination, hunger will always still be there. The greats are concerned more about legacy and accomplishments than the money. The money is just an awesome extra benefit of what you do. We have seen many times over, especially with the great fighters/athletes who have became wealthy and they still competed and went to work like nothing changed. So I don't necessarily agree with that statement or quote. The greats aren't defined by money. They don't let that stop them or get in their way. to name some, although im sure there have been more.. here are some examples: Floyd mayweather is one classic, obvious example.. Mike tyson. Roy Jones Jr. Canelo alvarez. Manny Pacquiao. Khabib nurmagomedov. Jon jones. Anderson silva. George St Pierre. Anthony Joshua. Sugar ray Leonard. Lennox Lewis. Oscar de la hoya. Muhammad ali.

It's why guys like Sandhagen at 6" tall and who can make 135 are so dominant. Conor has so much muscle, fast twitch, that he's built for quick fights, you drag it out, he's done. Except for the second Diaz fight, and he barely held on there and was blessed to have hurt Nate early when he still had gas and use of those fast twitch muscles.

Every time Chad took him down, he made him pay. That sharp teep kick pretty much disappeared from his arsenal these day. In my opinion, this fight is up there with his pristine performance against Eddie.

  • I’ve been a TAM guy from day 1 & loved Conor from his first UFC fight as well. U gotta respect Chad stepping in on a what 2 week call? Making weight & going after it. I believe had this been a full camp not only for Chad prepping for Conor but vice-versa I believe this would’ve likely went to a decision bc we most deff would’ve seen a more wrestling heavy style from Money more than we did. I think he had an adrenaline dump after that first takedown 15secs into the fight. Idk that the decision would’ve been any different than the result was but it would’ve been a much more interesting fight than it was not that it wasn’t but on a higher level. I think if this happened today we would likely get a result like we did when Khabib fought Conor. Chad wrestling him & wearing Conor down and either getting the stoppage or a UD. I TRULY TRULY HOPE WE GET THIS CONOR “THE OLD CONOR” ON SATURDAY BC IF HE LOSES TO DUSTIN AGAIN IDK WHATS LEFT...... with that said........ WAR MCGREGOR LETS FKN GO 🇮🇪🤙🏻🇮🇪
