Former UFC light heavyweight champion Shogun Rua will be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame’s ‘Modern Wing’ as a member of the Class of 2024. The 2024 UFC Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place during the 12th Annual UFC International Fight Week™ this summer in Las Vegas and will be streamed live on UFC FIGHT PASS.

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you UFC!!!! Always been a fan of shogun since ufc 97 when I saw him beat chuck. He’s always been a legend! Been a struggle to get people to understand how good he is. So thankful to be able to see him get into the hall of fame! Thank you UFC!

  • My all time favorite MMA fighter! Such a shame injuries had such an affect on his career, once he joined the UFC. He did look absolutely incredible on his run from UFC 97 to UFC 113. I'm glad he's being inducted into the HoF! This had me teary eyed. The chant at the end. Amazing video!

  • 2005 LHW Grand Prix. Was the betting UNDERDOG in all 4 of his matches. FINISHED all 4 opponents to win the tournament. And most people wasn't even watching MMA back then. ESPN didn''t even post ANY articles about MMA at all.
