That's cause its not really a comeback, Aldo wants to boxe at the Paul x Tyson card but he needs to do this last fight of his UFC contract so that the contract ends, otherwise he'd be tied. That's why no one promoted it and why it's not a return either.

The whole UFC 301 card looks like a non Apex Fight Night, on paper looks weaker than the “evidence” that Saddam Husseim was hiding WMD. Might turn out to be a great night of fighting. I reckon UFC paid Aldo a massive amount of money to make the card better. Lost all respect for the Brazilian crowd after the way they treated Glover Texeria when he retired.

If there’s one thing I wish would happen for a lot of the older UFC fighters is that, I wish they had someone in their corner to be real with them and tell them, that’s it…Aldo is not making another run, he has not changed his style.
