  • Over the past year I’ve gained so much respect for Usman. I’m not the longest time fan, and I’ve gotten into mma as a form of coping for a lost one. When I saw Usman vs masvidal I thought very casually “oh he fought a boring fight” and what not, but over the year I’ve realized how dumb I was. He deserves all the respect and I’m so glad he won tonight. I genuinely believe he’ll run through masvidal again and whoever else with his mindset.

That could disrupt Usman’s jab. Burns threw heavy shots in the fist couple of minutes and then looked like he slowed down a little. Which is why Usman established the jab. Either ways, I think the next couple of fights in the welterweight division are going to be epic!
