  • I think what Makhachev and Khabib said before this fight is one of the best ways to promote a fight because even though it irritates Oliviera at least they don't insult Oliviera's family or Brazilians.

    @XperiencePureness@XperiencePureness Жыл бұрын
    • Khabib going over the console Charles immediately because just before the fight, Charles showed ultra sportsmanship by courteously shaking the hands of everyone in Islam's teach, starting with Islam. The BS they sometimes say bfore the fight, as Khabib said to Charles, was all to promote the fight; both fighters and their teams know how skilled both are, in their own ways. One tiny mistake by Islam and he could have been subbed by Charles, too. THAT Khabib, Islam and their entire team knew before the fight. But they also knew Charles was so much more aggressive and reckless, making more mistakes, so they're not going to fail capitalizing on those freebies given to them by Charles and his team!

    • It was a close fight. In my ignorant opinion, the fight was "inconclusive." However, the judges messed up not giving the split to Yan. But, it was not a robbery. O'Malley did the most significant damage in the fight. Did Yan even won on points? I am not confident, because I don't rate "ground control" unless you have the opponent's back. MMA needs an objective scoring criteria that gives striking and grappling their proper respect. All I know (from boxing) is that strikes can kill the opponent. Laying on top of the opponent or pinning him against the cage is essentially harmless. No fighter will ever die because of that.
