Good call. I’d prefer the Curtis fight b/c IMO he’s more dangerous style wise. Both good tests for sure.
Curtis is out for 6 months minimum with that hamstring tear.

@@smokestrong1000I think he means with Dana White privilege Bo Nickal fighting on the UFC 300 main card while other fighters below in that card have achieved more to deserve to fight on that main card. Nevertheless, Bo is a great fighter and I agree that it's better that he should not speed run to the title. I'd give him 2-3 unranked opponents first. If that goes well, he's ready to fight some ranked opponents.
I rate bo nickal a lot. He'll go far.
Don't think it's still TOO early to tell? I envision he crumbles when any of his upcoming opponents stuffs the wrestling, and blasts Bo in the face! In my opinion, he has to have a hard fight for you to be able to say if he is champion material or not.

He's only 6-0. It's not protecting, it's building him up... this isn't women's bantamweight, where anyone who's 3-0 can fight a ranked opponent.

A REAL GUY. A vet. A gatekeeper. Anybody but regional rejects and short notice fighters or DWCS schlubs....a winner. Not some can. A ranked guy? Top 15? Is that too much to ask? Be careful what you wish for. He better do better than he did in that last weak fight. His wrestling didn't look Khamzat level. he struggled beating someone that Khamzat would steam roll.

@@stevensawyer5784 Compared to the steamroll machine everyone makes him out to be. Yeah that wasn't good. Even he wasn't happy with his performance. As I said, he's gonna have to do better than that to bet Khamzat. Also control time where you doing no damage means nothing.

@@EyeXombie yeah Bo still has some work to do I agree with that. My biggest criticism of him is that he always chases submissions instead of raining down ground and pound. My only disagreement was that he struggled with brundage maybe your standards are set a bit to high if you think that was a struggle

Poatan is like a decade older with an entire kickboxing career. He jumped into the fold, Bo has a couple years. Alex wasn’t trying to wait around, he doesn’t have that time.
This is mma not wrestling. When he hits real talent the humbling with be interesting. Will he be Ronda rousey aka delusional or Robert Whittaker and rise like a Phoenix from the ashes...im calling Ronda. These "mentally tough wrestlers" are pretty fragile when it comes to losing nontitle fights

Maia was low key very strong too. Just b/c you’re not “ripped” doesn’t mean your strength is lower than that of someone else. Maia is a GOAT in BJJ, and could drag you around easy.
Brendan Allen is not a wizard by any means but I think he’d give bo problems.
