If Colby really wanted to he could cut down to 155, but he chooses not to as by his own admission he doesn't want to be a weight bully, which is respectable. That being said, if a 165 pound weight-class existed Colby would be a shoe-in for that division.

  • Colby has an unyielding gas tank that is truly otherworldly. The longer his career grows, the more all of you will begin to truly appreciate what a special athlete the man is. Caesar Carnero is an absolute legend in the striking game, btw. To the degree that Roger Gracie is to the Jitz game, and he's basically been Colby's Sensai for the past two years. I am nobody special, although I've worked out w hundreds of professional fighters before, dating back to when my man Yves Edwards got me jacked training down in Conroe, TX for my initiation to the beautiful art of Muay Thai. I was most recently living over in Phuket, Thailand where I saw first hand maybe the greatest collection of fighters that one particular gym could ever offer at Tiger Muay Thai, and I just want to share this much. Still yet, I have never seen anything like Colby's engine. Not anywhere, and not from even the most elite world class of Muay Thai fighters, wrestlers, pro boxers, or championship belt holding mma fighters alike. It is truly ridiculous folks, and if you ever wondered why so many of his peers still show his fighting prowess so much respect, it's because they know he's got a freakish gas tank as well. Good luck Masvidal. I'm still a bit salty at when you head kicked my boy Yves back when he was one fight away from making his UFC return, but I have since still had nothing but love and respect for ya. You have your hands full tomorrow night though my dude. Best of luck to both warriors.

      @Ritalie@Ritalie2 жыл бұрын
    • Usman weighed at least 20 more pounds than Colby on fight night (195 vs 175) and that's just not a fair fight, no matter what the rules are. If Colby fought someone at 155 pounds when he weighed 175, is there anyone that could beat him? Probably not. They really need to change the rules so that fighters must be within 7 pounds of the weight class, on fight night, or they lose a portion of their purse. Why even have weight classes at all, if some fighters are fighting with 20 more pounds than their opponent? Davidson Figueredo vs. Moreno (at least 20 pounds difference).
