@@theoyancey I'm not so sure. It's an intriguing fight because it can go either way. Cowboy does tend to start slow whilst Conor is infamous for finishing fast. I think if Conor wins the fight its near exactly how Till managed to pull it off. If the fight lasts multiple rounds though I think Cerrone's ruthless knees and kicks could drain Conor before being taken down and submitted.

It sound crazy....but I think Cerrone is actually a really good matchup for Khabib. Cerrone has the most effective BJJ from his back in the history of the UFC and his wrestling is underrated. If he can last long enough to get loose, he would beat Khabib on the feet because he won't be afraid of the takedown like Conor. People act like Khabib out struck Conor but Conor was crippled by his grappling limitations. Khabib is not on Cerrones level in striking and I think Cerrone has as good a chance as anyone else on the ground.
He'd get mauled. Only Tony can challenge Khabib
I wouldn't think so cowboy has a problem with pressure fighters or high tempo fighters with gas tanks so that would be a bad match-up for him. He might shock the world by beating Kevin Lee though.
@@spyro9087 You may be right because he does struggle with pressure guys...but all of the guys that actually best him with pressure are the kind that have instant stopping power. Khabib's one flaw (sort of) is that he doesn't really have any history of being able to end a fight at any second. He hurts people but generally has to wear them down to get the finish. People that dont finish Cowboy early usually loose. Kevin Lee is not as good as Khabib of course but I'd actually say he is more likely to finish Cowboy early than Khabib. It would be a huge upset but I think Cowboy can handle Khabib on the ground better than anyone Khabib has fought, even guys who should be better in paper. Cowboy has never been bested on the ground...ever. and the longer he can drag out the fight the more he would start landing on the feet to the point where if it went into the 3rd and 4th, Cowboy would start fucking him up. The hardest part would be getting there in one piece.
