I must admit I thought Fiziev would win going in to it but Gaethje was so good and selective with his damaging shots and head movement while been at a speed disadvantage. He hardly had a scratch on him.He just fought smarter and even getting the takedown to shut us fans up. Fiziev is class though Im sure he'll be back better than ever. Dude ain't going anywhere 👍

I am no casual nor am I sniffing JG's jock when I say this but , he was so on another level it's very easy to overlook ; checkout just HOW far ahead of the game , 3 or 4 steps , of a world caliber, top ranked p-for-p fighter in RF, how far ahead he is at 05:29 minutes...he read the kick coming as well as the little flowthru hook attempt ....the man's in his prime y'all....don't stop these excellent slowmo breakdowns they're one of the most brilliant results of these matches for me afterwards ....

the thing about Gaethje is that he's fast and explosive(obviously not anywhere as fast as Fiziev)and hits like a truck, so if in a fight he's barely as technical as his opponent then he's definitely winning that fight.
he also seemed quite bigger than fiziev
Gaethje has ridiculous speed and power in his punches. Notice how he's not overly muscular? He doesn't slow down, so he's hitting at full velocity the entire fight, never letting his opponent get any rest at all from the abuse. When the UFC was testing fighters on their punching machine, Gaethje had the hardest punch recorded, per body weight, out of any fighters. Derrick Lewis had the hardest punch ever recorded on the machine.
