  • Hopefully Dana and Gary read these comments. I started my health journey in January with similar issues that Dana was going through. I was a walking heart attack with sleep apnea, pain and inflammation, snoring , Low energy and horrible brain fog. Starting in January, after listening to the 2 -1/2 hour Rogan podcast with Gary, my girlfriend and I started a similar protocol. We both did a dry January of no alcohol. Immediately switched to a keto diet, did a 36 hour fast and installed a cold plunge tub in the backyard. I already had the PEMF Matt and an infrared sauna in the house due to complications from Lyme disease. Coincidentally, I had just sold my hyperbaric oxygen chamber (but I’m finding I’m getting the same benefits from the cold plunge tub as I did from the chamber). Almost overnight I started to transform myself from feeling like I was 54 to feeling like I’m 25, I stopped snoring, I sleep great, I have a crazy amount of energy and the inflammation is gone. Most importantly my blood work improved significantly and my brain fog lifted. I have been dealing with brain fog since 2015 when I was bitten by a tic. For those who are trying to suggest that this is TRT, you are wrong. After I was bit by the tick my testosterone level was around 190. Target should be 850 to 1000. I’ve been on TRT since 2021 and it never corrected all of my other issues. The things that you can do immediately at home on a low budget is switch to a Keto diet, buy a Cold plunge tub. You can get 100 gallon stock tank for a $200 and put it in your backyard or you can spend as much as $3000 on the Internet for one with a chiller. We were fortunate this winter in the Carolinas, the tub mostly stayed below 50°. We both love it so much we purchased a new one with a chiller for $3500. I do have an infrared sauna with a red light in it that was expensive as well as a pulsed electric magnetic frequency bed. But I guess it depends on your priorities. All In I have around $15,000 invested. If you’re suffering from chronic health issues you may want to consider some of these life hacks they are legit! Thank you Barry for putting this content out thank you Dana for sharing your story.

If you change those two things, especially the working out part, you're very likely to get rid of or alleviate many of your health problems. I'll bet you anything most of what Dana's feeling is from him working out.

    • @@kommisar. Not to mention diet and weight training is your natural T. Our bodies are amazing. If you get 8 hours of sleep every night . Hit the gym two or three times a week. Lift hard and heavy but keep it under half hour cool down stretch take cold showers cold plunges. Eat nutrient-rich fruits and roots with natural proteins from fish beef Etc stay away from seed oils vegetable oils. High fructose man-made sugars and anything that comes in a package with a bunch of ingredients. You are buying a product not food. Your body will naturally produce testosterone and human growth hormone using all of the nutrients you have been feeding it consistency is the key. Most people don't realize what we are capable of because our base is always so shity to start with. Our food is pumped full of hormones that produce estrogen and are lacking basic nutrients that feed our bodies ability to produce our own natural hormones that keep us lean healthy and strong. Get rid of all your man-made soaps lotions Etc add all of your plastic food containers

      @Kently6161@Kently6161Ай бұрын
    • @@Kently6161 You don't even have to diet that hard if you are working out consistently and hard, and 2-3 times a week for under a half hour isn't hard (or at least not hard enough). If you lift and put on muscle, like real muscle, that goes a very long way. You don't even have to have the best diet. You could just cut down on sugars and processed foods. Cooking in vegetable oil, storing your food in plastic containers or eating Taco Bell occasionally isn't going to fuck up your T levels to any significant degree. What matters if that you're burning more calories than you're consuming and putting on muscle. I wouldn't be surprised if cold plunges are all placebo either. Wow, that cold woke you up and got you ready to get on with your day? No shit. The same thing would happen if you stuck your finger in the outlet.

Thanks again, sincerely, for the inspiration. ps - Maybe I'll run into you near a blackjack table in Vegas to thank you personally. I've been known to play a hand or two as well, so there's a chance. Either way, take good care, and congrats! ... Not only on the body transformation, but also on feeling so much better, mentally and physically. By the way, before any comments of hate and ridicule ... yes, Dana reads all these comments and will not only read this one, but will reply, and ultimately, I'll play some blackjack with him, on a private table in a high limit room in a Las Vegas casino. • @@stanisawzaganczyk Why would breathing pure oxygen "help carry oxygen into the cells" as the supposed doctor said? First of all, your blood already has a ~98% oxygen saturation. Shoving more oxygen into it won't do much. Secondly, what actually detaches the oxygen from the hemoglobin into the cells is CO2 (which is why you feel dizzy when you hyperventilate - not enough CO2 in the blood means your cells don't get enough O2). So if you really wanted to oxygenate your cells, you'd simply do breath hold training. This is a very expensive scam. There's a saying, it goes something along the lines of "it's easier to scam 1 person for $100 than 100 people for $1"

      @mikehawk6918@mikehawk6918Ай бұрын
    • @@mikehawk6918I'm not stainawdhftdjezyk, but I think has something to do your baseline levels. Increasing oxygen levels, even if not by much, signals to your body that its got more, thus utilizing it more effectively. Also, ever looked into Wim Hof breathing? I'm not asking you to purchase all the claims wholesale, but there is definitely something there. A lot of what the body does is a complex interplay between a bunch of stuff we don't fully understand. Kind of like how hormones are not a 1 to 1, cause-effect type of thing. Minute changes in ratios to hormones, for example, can have drastic downstream effects that manifest themselves in unexpected ways. The human body is fascinating, honestly.

    • Yeeah, he pretty much said you dont need the equipment and one can create their own routine. I wouldnt say using the equipment is about being lazy. Its more about saving time. Dana lives in the dessert that is las vegas, there is no sea near vegas to go swimming in. Hes also running a multi million dollar company that im sure is a full plate of work every day with tons of obligations and traveling. It would not be practical for him to disapear everyday, all day to go hiking up hills, fly to the nearest sea to swim, do somekinf of ramdom labor outside like what? Yard work? then sit some where amd wai for dusk, lol. With the equipment, he can get the routine done in a couple hrs.

    • Maybe if you have actual TIME during the day to do all that stuff. All that sounds lazy to me, just in a different way. This would be hard for a lot of city people to do every day. But you're right, it's great stuff and nothing new, and you're one lucky dude if you have time and access to all that.

  • 90% of those results on mood, performance and general health depend on - losing weight - building muscle mass - building better cardio - focusing on regular quality sleep For men of almost 60 with Dana's lifestyle trt helps a lot in those and he is clearly on it. All the other stuff is just minor optimizations that look cool and amount (being generous) to 10% of the result. Basically, there's no need for fancy and expensive stuff: lose weight, exercise a lot both cardio and weights, sleep more and better, maybe stop drinking alcohol and you will achieve the same thing. (And If you wanto those abs at 60, use steroids).
