And as a karate sensei, he’s not selfish about his students dividing their attention for training and school. In fact, he encourages the students to excel in academics too by looking after their track in school. What a saint.

Since everyone is talking about how great Wonderboy is…. Right after the Luque fight, I ran into him at Disneyland. I was a single rider on the Smuggler’s Run ride, and ended up with him and his family. I was so stoked! I told him my wife can’t ride because she is with my 2 year old son, and he said “well, you’re part of our family for this ride now!” After the ride we talked about his fight and came over and met my wife and son. He was seriously the nicest guy I’d ever met! It was something I’ll never forget.

Part of me was honestly expecting the girl in the wheelchair to turn to the camera and say, "And fuck Helwani, that rodent."
It's all part of the embedded seriee to get fighters to speak and reveal their personal/emotional lives to their fans ( family, childhood, job, struggles), essentially anything that paints fighters in a positive outlook and make fans identify and sympathize with them. That is what sets the ufc apart fron ONE FC despite having killers in both organizations. UFC invests in the press and publicity.
The UFC knows that Paddy has been receiving a lot of criticism recently, and it appears that this was purely a public relations move to bring in a fan to speak positively about him. I'm not doubting that she's a genuine fan, but I'm convinced that the UFC orchestrated this to improve his public image. Maybe I'm cynical, but that's how I feel.

When I met Wonderboy in person at ufc 238, I thought he would treat me like any other random person but the dude was cracking jokes with me acting like a friend and we had a good conversation, that’s something that’ll always stick with me, meeting other fighters some gave off they were too good for you vibes, but Wonderboy never did he treats everyone the same, such a great dude
