Sterlings grappling skills is really good, theres a reason yan didn't want to go to the ground. Aljos wrestling skills on the other hand is pretty bad, he went 0/9 on takedowns against Pedro Munhoz and JImmie Rivera. He rarely is efficent with his takedown and needs to work on that

You can be a shit wrestler who cant take anyone down or always is getting taken down but you can have a really good grappling game on the floor in which you can do a lot of different things. Hopefully thats a decent enough explanation. An example would be Demian Maia, he is a good grappler but not a good wrestler. Another example is Aljamain sterling

  • Can't believe how incredibly biased the commentary team and the UFC itself were against Jan Blachowicz. So happy for Jan Blachowicz that he was able to prove all those who disrespected, underestimated, and counted him out that they're all wrong. Israel Adesanya is always going to remember every single time before he sleeps and when he wakes up that he was outclassed and overpowered by Jan Blachowicz's legendary Polish Power, and was forced to eat some Polish humble pie. Izzy just got lucky that he lost to a humble and classy champ like Jan Blachowicz. Amanda Nunes is most likely going to retire undefeated as a double champ, just can't doubt her incredible greatness. Really funny how Megan Anderson said in the press conference before the fight that she's the first true Featherweight who has real Featherweight power that Amanda Nunes will face, but ended up getting totally outclassed and submitted via armbar. Aljamain Sterling's acting is terrible and we all know that he can't beat the real champ Petr Yan straight up, Aljamain Sterling was already slowing down and was losing the fight as he was getting outstruck and outlanded by the champ Petr Yan before that damn DQ, that's why he just took the easy way out to become a so-called champion.
