  • One of the best . He had grappling skills of Khabib only his shooting skill is not of khabib's level similar to makachev but rest of the skills that he possesses he is very good. Plus he is physically stronger than khabib - with that kind of skill and strength he was a champ material already but he also improved his striking - good faints , kicks , knees and effective and technical punches he now only needs experience . Him vs khamzat - he is good for mw as he is girthy and his striking improved significantly , khamzat shoots better but idont think that would be helpful in taking Aliskerov down . Also in terms of ground game i think aliskerov will do much better - could have more variety of submissions threat . On feet khamzat is little faster but technically now aliskerov is better also khamzat may be stronger in round 1 as the round progress i think aliskerov is more likely to win . Nevertheless both are good . Khamzat also needs to fight a little differently or try new things coz he spends a lot of energy in round 1 and he should also develop some of the techniques like clinch , knees as in close range he gets clipped like against Gilbert burns and also against Usman . If khamzat could adopt clinch and knees like Islam does his striking would improve significantly as he has long hands shoter opponent in range - like Burns who r ready to throw down clips him multiple times while his longer and slim hands are not effective . Therefore he should use more leg kicks less telegraped and clinch and knees .
