The hype for this card is insane. We have two main events. Massive respect to Volk and Usman for stepping in and saving UFC 294. And for Islam and Khamzat also for accepting to fight them.

As a amateur we train 4-5 times a week constantly for years, 3 months intensive training most likely give more injuries, ALSO it’s only the cardio and repetition they work on, and most serious fighter do that stuff regularly - and khamzat is a golden example, he doesn’t care and he takes multiple fights within a week, because he has been in a training camp for 10 years straight. But the prima donnas in USA think they need 1 year preparation to fight somebody, a fucking street fight doesn’t wait, and true combative warriors should alway be rdy for the streetfight, that was the embodiment of MMA, we already have WW

Big difference between training to keep in shape and training for a fight though. They're at massive disadvantages, but they're also both as elite as it gets so who knows what happens.

A reminder the "goat" Jon Jones refused to fight Chael who was a late replacement. And Chael has never been p4p like Usman or Volk. So respect to Islam and Chimaev 100%. It does go both ways
