    @hennycent1@hennycent17 ай бұрын
    • Yup she's not as elite as we've been led to believe, a lot of it is truly underwhelming competition in the Women's Flyweight division. Grasso has very good boxing, having practically grown up in a boxing gym with her father and uncle training her alongside amateur and pro boxers around her to spar with. Val specifically mastered Muay Thai, then adapted that to MMA and dominated a bunch of cans. Now someone with much better boxing and movement/footwork than Val is exposing Valentinas natural boxing weakness., not to mention Grasso has quality BJJ and is a good grappler. Val would need to spam kicks (and no spinning sht) and takedowns if she wants to reclaim her title, but i think Grasso has her number, and hopefully so, i really don't like Valentinas attitude since losing the fight, arrogant and deluded imo.

What made her look bad and look outstruck was that she was uncomfortable striking with alexa because alexa went forward confident even after getting hit by her. Ppl normally don't show that kind of confidence against Valentina. I think that's what threw her off.

Her multilingual mind is evident in her abilities in the octagon and her fight IQ. Alexa is bilingual but needs to be multilingual to equal the thought process to which I speak. Like yeah...that is how you lose fights. All fights are lost via someone making a mistake usually. It was not a freak accident or something. It was just Valentina using an ill-time moved of a spinning kick during a really bad time in the match while also having her back to the cage with no way out of it if it went wrong. Somehow saying - I was winning a fight before I entirely lost the fight in spectacular fashion entirely due to the fault of my own - is meant to be a good thing?
