    • @Darren Reddix With fighters it may be because they feel inspired and/or motivated to push themselves in a better direction from watching these guys. Like all those people who'd see Randy or George Foreman and go ''man, if they can do that at their age maybe I can do X''.

    • I don’t think hooker is on his level and I say this as a hooker fan, Dan is a great fighter but he’s not on the same level as the top 3 guys in that division, even charles oliveira was in a very dangerous position but Charles has great jiu jitsu and can make you tap in a matter of seconds, Dan does not have these ground skills, hes good on the ground but no where near as good as oliveira

  • Hooker calling out Dariush and saying, “you’re a coward if you duck me” was fire 😂

    • Dariush asked for Dan *didn't call him out* after his 4th in a row, then 5th, then 6th win in a row. Never got him. Now Dariush is ranked #3 on a 7 fight win streak while Dan is 2-2 and Dariush would be a coward to take a higher ranked fight and not give Dan a shot? LOLOL That's obviously dumb but you have to call someone out these days I suppose so good on Dan. Why punch down.

      @Jace7077@Jace70772 жыл бұрын
    • @@Jace7077 There's context to it. Daruish and Tony are the only fighters in the top 10 without a dance partner, Daruish and Tony already fought, so it makes sense to call out Daruish since he's ranked number 3 and on a win streak, and with a win over that would propel Dan even further into a title contender. Calling a Dariush a coward is way to bait him into fighting The Hangman. haha

      @Jamirock07@Jamirock072 жыл бұрын
    • @@Jamirock07 Oh, I'm aware and agreed the coward stuff is marketing. The thing is that Dariush is currently preparing as the alternate for Poirier v Olivera. Unless Hooker can make a 1 month turn around, their times will be off. From there, assuming he doesn't step in, I think the UFC have told him his next fight will be a title eliminator at worst. I can't see that being vs Dan. Maybe winner of Justin vs Michael. Or loser of Olivera vs Poirier. Dan vs Tony in a 5 round would make sense. Both have taken some losses recently. Big name fight. Fan friendly.

    • @@Jace7077 Hooker isn't getting cut any time soon, while Ferguson's contract is on the ropes. Unless you hate Tony, I wouldn't go wishing for him to fight Hooker in their current form.

      @hatchetomahawk@hatchetomahawk2 жыл бұрын
    • @@Jace7077 also Hooker and Dariush are both very strong and broad for the division, similar builds even. So I think this fight is better to have an outcome before either of them aims for the belt, but that's just me.
