It did not at all feel like the commentators were saying the fight was close. To me it seemed more like the commentators were giving Juliana credit for staying in the fight and giving her all, even when she was being dominated. Also, I think they were trying to play it up and keep it interesting, especially when Juliana was going for the late submission attempts.

Very similar to the Ortega Volk fight. Ortega had some good moments on his feet and some really dangerous submission attempts that were several centimeters, degrees, or seconds from finishing the fight, but Volk dominated every round. Same with Nunes in the rematch.

I'll say again, The UFC has the worst audio in sports. If the mic isn't exploding with sound artifacts, the athlete is never loud enough. Or the audience is louder than the fighter.
Amanda did look a bit uncomfortable going southpaw yet still delivered multiple knockdowns. If she continues to work on it shes going to be scary moving forwards. Anyone who has trained both stances know its not a easy thing to do.
