    • That's what champions do. Win fights in unexpected ways even when everyone predicts they can't possibly win. And let's not even forget about his compromised knees. With torn ACLs your range of leg movements can become very limited and that's probably why Francis wasn't exploding in the ground either! Full respect to the champ!

  • Ngannou’s knee injury really is the story of this fight and I don’t think it’s nearly talked about enough. Imagine tearing 3 ligaments of your knee and forced to not pull out due to the threat of being stripped-off. And still winning after five hard rounds against a specialist, what a beast.

He said this again in the DC interview that Gane's movement is what prevents him from being taken down and that they look forward to fighting Curtis Blaydes and Stipe. Fact of the matter is Ngannou's decision to leave was vindicated tonight.

    • Dana was 100% sure that Gane will beat Francis. But Francis surprised every one by showing another dimension of his game. First 2 rounds, Francis tried for a KO but failed. Then in 3rd round, he changed strategy and dominated Gane. That's how True Champions make adjustments during the fight. Francis be given due respect. He is a warrior with a Heart of a Lion

  • I was amazed at the shift after the third round. But knowing how young Ganes career is he was soaking up all the information during the fight and it will only make him a better fighter going forward. Francis wrestling and successfully reversing from bottom position was amazing and definitely a testament to how important wrestling and jiu jitsu really is. But that's just a guess based on what a bunch of champions are complaining about. Also a bunch of ex UFC fighters are going broke and fighting for orgs like bare knuckle boxing to try to make ends meet after sacrificing their bodies to make the UFC billions. But that's someone on the outside looking in.

  • Congrats to the champ Francis Ngannou. Won with bad knees, basically a walking punching bag and still beat the agile opponent on his best day. Wondered why he was stiff and plotting like that. Best resume to date in hw history. I like that Dana mad right now. He is lighten up like a lightbulb right now. Bad knees, contract problems, distractions and still went in there and won. Laura Sanko wants a spin again Francis.

  • Ngannou proved Ferdinand isn’t that great of a coach and just got lucky to have found Francis and Gane. He saw the mistakes he made with Francis when he lost in the first fight with Stipe having Zero ground game, and sat there and made the same mistake with Gane. Gane needs a new coach and camp.
