  • happy for poirier. Dudes been grinding for a while. Been giving to charities for a while now as well. Seems like a good dude. The UFC needs a champion like him. Someone that doesn't have an identity crisis, someone that is genuine and being himself. Someone who doesn't make up things to fight for, you know he's fighting for his life. Seems like a good dude. always in a good fight

      @one4all989@one4all9895 жыл бұрын
    • Mike Tython this is real life. Not some fairy tale. Get in touch with reality instead of hiding at home because you can’t live your life due to challenges in life. You compensate by staying at home watching shows, acting that you wish your life was like. Kinda sad. I like the show, but it’s the last thing on a fighter’s mind after a fight. Same way when fighters are in the middle of the fight with their adrenaline going through the roof, thinking about killing the other guy, and trying to survive, last thing on their mind at that moment is sex. You wouldn’t know because you got little life experience. Social media and tv shows don’t substitute for real life. You get more feelings and a rush from real experiences.

I really enjoyed how each fighter (co and main) spoke so eloquently and respectfully of each other; this is real respect. Even to how nicely Dana handled himself at the start of this was beautiful. • I sorta knew the kg vs izzy was gonna be good. I didn’t think kelvin was going to be able to land as much as he did, but with izzy willing to stand in the pocket & go toe to toe like that, it instantly became the best fight I’ve ever watched. Both are so fundamentally sound, neither was willing to concede or throw in the towel. Nothing but respect for both men. For sure one of the most stressful fights I’ve ever witnessed, I had a feeling izzy was gonna win.... but kelvin really impressed me. LEGENDS !!!! I’ll be willing to bet, they’ll meet again in the next 2 years. The newest era of fighting is forming. GREAT time to be a MMA fan.

We all know he's a HW fighting down in LHW because he's scared of the power punching in the HW division, so he's calling out someone who's essentially two divisions below him in weight, guess he wanted to out do TJ's douchery in calling out DJ (then getting smoked by Henry instead)

Dustin did a great job but he took the 5th round off. A disservice to the heart of Holloway. I don't think Max should fight him at 155 again but either way I will still bet on Max. • Kelvin was literally finished towards the end. Israel adjusted and was fluffed at first but the reach was too much for Kelvin. The hits accumulated to the point he was going down like a ship sinking. I knew Israel would win because of that. Israel doesn't have one hit KO power but his strikes still hurt. Your brain gets shaken up. You can't eat too many shots by him. As I said before, Kelvin's real chance was wrestling. The longer the match went the more it went to Israel because of his reach. Accumulating damage in deep waters finished Kelvin off something Holloway couldn't do against Dustin. Dustin was exhausted because he brings power to his punches early in the fight but it wasn't enough for Max to capitalize. Plus Dustin is a good counter-striker. Kelvin's chin is not as strong as people said it was. Israel is not a KO artist. The vast majority of his wins are TKO. In fact, there is very few if any bombers in the UFC right now and this is why Israel will do well striking wise in the promotion. Same goes for Jon Jones. Jon Jones is not a KO artist. He is not a bomber and he has never faced a bomber. A bomber is a fighter who has the majority of their wins via KO. UFC doesn't have many of those.

    • Samuel Morales I think Israel could’ve knocked out kelvin in a single strike ( of course his kicks, but also his punches) but unlike kelvin( who was throwing pure power punches) israel was trying to keep it tight and throw with precision but If he would’ve threw his punches how kelvin was throwing them (wild mostly) and if he would’ve landed one of them..... goodnight kelvin
