I am not fan of Adesanya at all but I couldnt just ignore the fact that he is a really great fighter/athlete. Not only is he incredibly active (3 title defences in 9 months), but he also does not choose easy fights, never pulls out of a fight, always makes weight, never cheats during fights (eye pokes, groin shots never fakes those too). He is in UFC just 4 years but already built a legacy worth hall of fame. Truly an incredible individual, maybe some of his fights werent as exciting as we would like them to be but it is what it is. Thank you Izzy for all you've done so far. I started to appreciate what you've done only after you lost. 😢
He also humps his opponents' unconscious bodies after knocking them out, doesn't apologize afterwards, and then makes memes out of it. I like Izzy as a fighter, and I don't mind him as a person, but this was 100% karma for sure Edit: I know Costa talked shit before the fight which got Izzy upset but A) Izzy literally said he said he would "rape" Holland if they fought so I think it would be hypocritical for Izzy to be upset at someone else talking trash. B) Izzy is always talking about respect, honor, and being a true martial artist so it comes across as hypocritical when he does shit like that. C) Lots of fighters deal with talk trash before fights, very few perform simulated sex acts on their defeated opponents. That was the most disrespectful thing I've ever seen in an octagon but I can't imagine that the things Costa said before the fight were the most disrespectful shit that has ever been said in the history of the UFC.
@@vikingsfan2218 😢 poor Paulo

Sure, he took the loss so well that he neither shook Alex's hand, nor congratulated him, nor stood around for the octagon interview, and also protested the stoppage, lol such a true champ, please remove Izzy's semen from your mouth thanks, also why is the inferior non champ coming out with that out of place shit looking fur coat? like he is the champ or something? The ACTUAL champ beat this anime nerd 3 times and finished him twice :) he will always be Izzy's superior and his daddy forever, it literally doesn't matter how well he did at the start in all his fights with Alex if the end result was the same :) And the only reason why Izzy even did so well is because he is much faster and has better cardio, and speed + reaction time is the first to go with age, however Alex's power will alway be there, because age doesn't take that away, only your cardio and speed, Izzy is 33 he ain't getting better, so he will always be Alex's inferior.
His ground game is horrible
Just like how kamaru lost he was kicking Leon’s ass I hope adesanya can bounce back
@@Mazigaro The difference is that Leon actually got lucky, he got manhandled for 4 and a half rounds and managed to lucky headkick at the end of the 5th. Alex however has beaten Izzy twice in kickboxing, once in MMA and finished him 2 times and in this fight he TKOed Izzy so it wasn't a flash KO or something lucky, he outplayed him:) so Alex will forever be his superior and his daddy, doesn't matter if Izzy always did well in the early rounds if the result has been the same 3 times in a row :) he is simply better.

Can't talk trash when your daddy is on the other side, and he still can't 😂😂
Wait what? He did talk trash, dummy.
Yeah I never liked Izzy but I'm not like these assholes on the internet. Everyone not only Izzy deserves respect.
Don’t respect a bum. He got frozen like Elsa
Humble pie well and truly eaten
I like the way how Izzy take the lost and he is not mad , In life you have to lose to be a successful or a champion respect for Izzy 👑
Respect. I like he names most of the journalists by name. He seems like a all-around good fella.
I find Adesanya really inspiring. Somehow he carries himself with more confidence and pride after a loss than i would after a win.
Because he is a true narcissist.
@@eliasekstrom6660 do you even know the term narcissist?
@@skygage2499 no
"Bring Back Steve" was the best line. Love this man, true champion and congrats to Alex.
Same energy... His journey is epic and all the best izzy
it wasnt the same energy... he was ummm ummmm cry baby eyes .. that was his energy
“Bring back Steve Mazzagatti” line got me 😂
It made me super happy to hear him say his health matters the most. These guys have killed their bodies and put themselves through such hell. Glad this man will get out of fighting before anything bad happens to him.
Huge respect! Great performance Izzy had that first round been a little longer you might of had him. Tough one brother. You’ll be champion again soon enough
Class through and through. Excellent martial artist, excellent sportsman and competitor. Major respect.
With the subtle excuses 😂😂
Excuse after excuse haahahahahaha
BANDWAGON RIDERS🤔
@@eyesmokeblunts6281 when did je make excuses?
@@TheBeaver50 when did he make excuses?
Brilliant fight. Can't wait to see them run this back. Beautiful performance from Israel for 4.5 rounds. Astonishing resolve and power shown by Alex. Thank you, gentlemen.
He is a genius , very inspiring.. now he got the belt back...no better than champion than easy... very entertaining
Whatever you're going through my man, hope and pray your health gets back to100% asap
Pure grace. What a champion for taking a loss with such dignity. Respect.
@ii_007 How did he get exposed? Yeah he lost, people lose but you're talking like he got dominated. He was clearly beating him nigh the entire fight.
🤝
His much deserved and needed new humbleness
This guy is the real deal...He took the loss with so much class. I'm proud of you..
Izzy gave 3 excuses why he lost. He didn't take the loss with class.
remarkably....Izzy's greatest gift, is his mind. He took this loss with a grace that somehow kept a crown upon his head. He is becoming the manifestation of a purist. A samurai. A warrior that knows no loss, everything is an understanding. A divine placement. I consider myself blessed to witness this young man's journey in martial arts. He is a young prince. Humble beyond measure. In your loss you still composed yourself as the champion you are. Sincerely, a very grateful Alaskan Fan.
Beautiful comment
NO !! His greatest gift IS his new husband Carlos Ulberg, they were married last night and NO this man is NOT humble........wow
agree... izzy will reign again
Bro wtf u talking about divine placement😂😂, he lost he can either take it with grace like this or moan
Gaf
What an inspiring reaction to a tough outcome. Adesanya's mental is elite
Yeah, he's a great pretender.
hahahaaha you think so ? that former champ is sufferingg inside , his bitter and jealous of ALEX ! no other choice but to look HUMBLE in front of the cameras !
@@chesschamp276 he could whine, that's another choice. He CHOSE humility. That's a Big man ting. Learn from it
@@chesschamp276 you are right
@@wilykat LMAO Facts.
I can only imagine how Israel is feeling. Again, he was winning and again he got knocked out. All in all I had my money in Poatan and again he didn't disappointed. Other than congrats to both. Awesome fight.
What a man! Of course , we didnt expect less than this from a true Naruto fan
I just became a fan of Izzy. He really didn’t make excuses he took the loss like a champ and he’s ready to move forward
Yea he needs to move forward out the UFC you casuals can follow. This sport was better off without you guys 🙌🏽
Exactly . It’s such an attractive quality to humble. It shows he can learn and come back stronger
@@ichiganade2071 I can tell a lot of people are better off without you.
Gotta respect Izzy for showing humility even in defeat!! That is why Izzy is one of my favorite UFC fighters of all time!! ❤🤙
Lol, took me a moment for the irony.
@@surtrpicks just respect the fighters jeez
@@BigBoss1R Says some jagoff commented on KZhead probably eating honey buns. 🤦🏾♂️
He's run his mouth for 2 years. Never fought anyone his own size until tonight and he got slept.
@@surtrpicks No irony at all. You judging a man for his outside appearance of him wearing a fur coat instead of for what’s inside his heart just makes you an ignorant self righteous hypocrite! Lol, didn’t take me a moment at all to notice your holier than thou art stupidity!
I like how he compared his gyno from steroids to Chadwick’s cancer lmao
This man a glorious warrior champ
It's like Khabib said You can have the best fighter but if he loses all haters will be like:,,He never was good" All haters should be quiet if they think the fights weren't close Congrats to Alex❤️such a hard hitter and exciting fighter Great performance by Izzy too Exicted for the rematch And now everyone Let's get ready for Volk vs Islam at UFC 284🏆❤️
Yeah, Alex Pereira vs Islam Makachev will be lit.
Nah Alex vs Weili is the fight to make ❤💪🏼
@@akungapain I think he meant Alexander Volkanovski vs Islam Makhachev. Not Pereira and they're in different weight classes also.
@@DonutMindMe we're all already know it. Jk.
@@DonutMindMe Yeah I meant Volkanovski I should change the ,,Alex" to ,,Volk" Otherwise some people will accidentaly misunderstand me
Back against the wall, moved into Alex's power left hook. He kept doing that since round 1 and sure enough, walked towards Alex's left hook w back against the wall...
Swear, I thought Alex was gonna throw a left high kick to end it.
I kept thinking the same thing. I’m watching the fight thinking that he had to fight for center control because when he had control of the center, he was tagging him and striking with confidence, but Alex’s intimidating squared stance and forward pressure kept Izzy pinned at crucial points the whole fight, and I remember just thinking every time he was pinned against the cage “You can’t stay there!” I would tense up every time that happened, and something was bound to connect in such a compromising position. Gut-wrenching to see him lose this fight, but hats off to Alex. Izzy will be back.
@@JJNajee omg i felt the same every time Alex would back Izzy up but most of the times Izzy cleverly clinched and moved out. Man this fight reminds me of Dominic vs Chito Dominic was outpointing Chito but Chito was looking for that one shot you could literally feel the tension
Do you guys think Izzy can beat Alex in a rematch? Alex will definitely improve his grappling and ground game so he will only get more dangerous in the future. It’s just an unfair weight and god given power advantage for Alex, the guy weighs 220 pounds on fight night whilst Izzy weighs like 195 💀
@@defrenkg814 It’s possible, I think as someone with Izzy’s fight acumen and abilities he could beat Alex, but it just seems like a situation where Alex just simply has his number. I know for a fact if they fight again, he can’t allow Alex to press him up against the cage like that, no way. He seems strong mentally for sure, but losing three times to someone, and one of those loses you lose the belt to them? That has to do something to you mentally for sure. It’ll either crumble him or make him stronger, only time will tell.
