  • I am not fan of Adesanya at all but I couldnt just ignore the fact that he is a really great fighter/athlete. Not only is he incredibly active (3 title defences in 9 months), but he also does not choose easy fights, never pulls out of a fight, always makes weight, never cheats during fights (eye pokes, groin shots never fakes those too). He is in UFC just 4 years but already built a legacy worth hall of fame. Truly an incredible individual, maybe some of his fights werent as exciting as we would like them to be but it is what it is. Thank you Izzy for all you've done so far. I started to appreciate what you've done only after you lost. 😢

    • He also humps his opponents' unconscious bodies after knocking them out, doesn't apologize afterwards, and then makes memes out of it. I like Izzy as a fighter, and I don't mind him as a person, but this was 100% karma for sure Edit: I know Costa talked shit before the fight which got Izzy upset but A) Izzy literally said he said he would "rape" Holland if they fought so I think it would be hypocritical for Izzy to be upset at someone else talking trash. B) Izzy is always talking about respect, honor, and being a true martial artist so it comes across as hypocritical when he does shit like that. C) Lots of fighters deal with talk trash before fights, very few perform simulated sex acts on their defeated opponents. That was the most disrespectful thing I've ever seen in an octagon but I can't imagine that the things Costa said before the fight were the most disrespectful shit that has ever been said in the history of the UFC.

    • Sure, he took the loss so well that he neither shook Alex's hand, nor congratulated him, nor stood around for the octagon interview, and also protested the stoppage, lol such a true champ, please remove Izzy's semen from your mouth thanks, also why is the inferior non champ coming out with that out of place shit looking fur coat? like he is the champ or something? The ACTUAL champ beat this anime nerd 3 times and finished him twice :) he will always be Izzy's superior and his daddy forever, it literally doesn't matter how well he did at the start in all his fights with Alex if the end result was the same :) And the only reason why Izzy even did so well is because he is much faster and has better cardio, and speed + reaction time is the first to go with age, however Alex's power will alway be there, because age doesn't take that away, only your cardio and speed, Izzy is 33 he ain't getting better, so he will always be Alex's inferior.

Alex however has beaten Izzy twice in kickboxing, once in MMA and finished him 2 times and in this fight he TKOed Izzy so it wasn't a flash KO or something lucky, he outplayed him:) so Alex will forever be his superior and his daddy, doesn't matter if Izzy always did well in the early rounds if the result has been the same 3 times in a row :) he is simply better.

A warrior that knows no loss, everything is an understanding. A divine placement. I consider myself blessed to witness this young man's journey in martial arts. He is a young prince. Humble beyond measure. In your loss you still composed yourself as the champion you are. Sincerely, a very grateful Alaskan Fan.

    • I kept thinking the same thing. I’m watching the fight thinking that he had to fight for center control because when he had control of the center, he was tagging him and striking with confidence, but Alex’s intimidating squared stance and forward pressure kept Izzy pinned at crucial points the whole fight, and I remember just thinking every time he was pinned against the cage “You can’t stay there!” I would tense up every time that happened, and something was bound to connect in such a compromising position. Gut-wrenching to see him lose this fight, but hats off to Alex. Izzy will be back.

    • Do you guys think Izzy can beat Alex in a rematch? Alex will definitely improve his grappling and ground game so he will only get more dangerous in the future. It’s just an unfair weight and god given power advantage for Alex, the guy weighs 220 pounds on fight night whilst Izzy weighs like 195 💀

      @defrenkg814@defrenkg814 Жыл бұрын
    • @@defrenkg814 It’s possible, I think as someone with Izzy’s fight acumen and abilities he could beat Alex, but it just seems like a situation where Alex just simply has his number. I know for a fact if they fight again, he can’t allow Alex to press him up against the cage like that, no way. He seems strong mentally for sure, but losing three times to someone, and one of those loses you lose the belt to them? That has to do something to you mentally for sure. It’ll either crumble him or make him stronger, only time will tell.
