  • I'll always be a fan of Hooker and Porier for putting on that fight. That was one of the first fights I watched in the beginning of the pandemic, where there was fuckall going on in the world in general. Then I stumble upon this fight, first time I watched a fight live. I was 'hooked'. Hooker looked like the best lightweight in the world at the end of that second round. Still don't know how porier survived that... Absolute legends

  • That fight with Poirier absolutely terrified me at the time; I don't know how both of those men avoided extended hospital stays after that one. Hooker was definitely affected by it but now seems back to form and knows he needs to fight smarter and avoid more of those bang-out fights.
