Tate the Snake is such a phoney persona. Miesha talking about the Suicide after the Holly Holm fight with Ronda was classless. Going back to strike force saying Ronda never deserves a championship match because she was a terrible fighter & her boyfriend saying with will punch Ronda's teeth in & break her arm & saying she is not female but a dude. Miesha going along with that. Even on the tuff show where Ronda & Miesha were coaches that came up. Miesha insulting her fighting skills........ But hey go ahead & watch Tate the Snake fool everyone with the in front of the camera persona. Ronda was the same person in front of the camera's & behind the camera. Funny how when men do the same thing they are called intense & competitors.

    @MrSERYOGA100@MrSERYOGA1004 ай бұрын
    • This era was like the peak of UFC, it seemed like everyone watched it then. People can say what they want about Ronda but she drew a crowd to women's UFC. Now no one really cares about it. Same with Anderson Silva. Ronda ended up having to fight women on like 1000 mg/dl of test and didn't have a chance.

      @Terminxman@Terminxman2 ай бұрын
    • @Terminxman It seems like most of these people who are hating on Ronda, and the likes of Conor McGregor, expect perfection out of everybody, and if they show even the slightest glimpse of failure, or fail when the spotlight is on them, they immediately talk down on them saying they're ain't nothing, when one of the reasons they were turning in was Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor. They are so casual that they "fail" to acknowledge that these fighters are human beings, with personalities, feelings, and egos. But sure, you can sit at your living room or your mommas basement with your French fries, and talk sh*t about people you will never reach their level, unless you put in the work and dedication, instead of judging everyone like a jacka$$

      @MrSERYOGA100@MrSERYOGA1002 ай бұрын
    • yep, and I think ronda forced a lot of her attitude because she thought that's what people expect of a UFC "personality" (maybe they do), then they hate her for her "attitude." regardless, like I said now what do we have, nothing. No one cares about the women's UFC and honestly the men's UFC is boring now. Sean Strickland is the only one right now that brings any viewers. @@MrSERYOGA100

It was a different fighter that made joking remarks about suicide. Meisha was asked about the comments in an interview with the media, and stated that while she would never see suicide as an option, she understands that many out there are hurting after suffering defeat, in no way shape or form directing those comments to Rhonda’s father. • @michael thomas these "completely different arts" have huge overlap in techniques and application in mma. im not going to go through the fight with you and point out which techniques ronda used that are also frequently used in wrestling but rest assured there are many. its not "getting it right" as much as it is being a nitpicky twat.

    • I frequently hear that BJJ is much better than Judo, as BJJ has much more techniques for when they’re on the ground, but Ronda is doing very well with just Judo.

    • Honestly, a lot of people hate Ronda for her attitude. But we forgot how nasty she was on the ground. Too bad, her head matched her own ego. And left her legacy down like Anderson Silva.

    • Thats all she was capable of doing. She has never won by knock out. ONly takedowns/submissions. Holly was the 1st BOXER that she fought. She had no clue how to defeat a boxer. Meisha on the other hand has fought boxers in the past. Her claim to fame was taking out a 10-1 muay Tai fighter years behind this and won by chokehold just as she took out Holly. When she watched Holly and Ronda fight, she knew exactly how to take Holly down. Even tho Holly was ultimately winning that fight.

  • It’s so crazy to go back and watch these fights now because you can see just how far women’s MMA has progressed in only a couple years. I used to think Ronda was A-class for MMA but watching this in light of fighters like Rose, Joanna, Amanda, and Valentina I’m like dang she had so many holes in her game. You can clearly see the lack of head movement and the poor striking that later got her into trouble against Holly. I love how scrappy these early women’s fights were, but it’s amazing to see how far female fighters have come since the days of Ronda, Miesha, Cat, Gina, etc.

    • Man look. I grew doing Boxing, Wrestling, and JUDO, and as a Judoka people used to call me an idiot because I’d say out loud all the time that Ronda couldnt box for shit during her prime years and that one day someone was going to exploit her very bad striking habits (back when the Cyborg fight was still somewhat possible) and all these keyboard warrior head ass couch potato wouldn’t bust a grape in a food fight motherfuckas would argue that Ronda had “world class hands”. Then when she lost to Holm I was like I told y’all MF asses what tf it was
