    • In just a striking match only, Gastelum beats Weidman no doubt but it's up to Gastelum to keep it that way and he couldn't. Weidman could strike too because he's a all around fighter but it's clear he preferred to take this fight to ground and or to hang on to him and that's also a main part of his game no matter who he fights. Gastelum did very good at middleweight for a dude his size even though many believe he should be fighting at welterweight.

The sad part is the thought that it came at the time when he just became the man in the UFC. I remember he was the only one who once billed above Ronda Rousey in a fight card when she was already a global star. Hes got the looks, the skills, personality and record to justify the push UFC was giving him at that time, then unexpectedly, he threw that stupid kick on Rockhold that changed his career his career forever. Since then, he's never been the same fighter we used to witness.

Sign Mijain Lopez, Jerrell Miller, Brian Shaw, Hafthor Bjornsson, Martyn Ford, Mariusz Pudzianowski, Amir Aliakbari, Hong Man Choi, Semmy Schilt, Akebono, NFL players to the 265plus division. You don't have to have 100 fights per year in that division; a few a year will do based on what you initially see from those guys; maybe, you'll notice that only NFL players can compete at that level; if so, you will only sign NFL players from then on to compete in that division. Intrigued? No? Then at least sign Tom Aspinall's arch-nemesis Gable Stevenson to lay-and-prey on poor Tom Aspinall.
