Anderson Silva fights how we imagine we fight in our heads
Shawn Lattimore yeah, the one against forest griffin was AMAZING. That counter that finished him was nasty.
Anderson" the Goat "Silva
@Shawn Lattimore specially forest was known to not give up for any beating..... But silva made it look so easy
Not me. In my head, I usually get a chest to chest body lock, or over/under. Then I use my right foot for an outside trip backwards. If i can't get the trip I switch to a hip toss, or just drag them down into half guard or side control. Then I put the top of my head in their jaw and nose, or start looking for short little elbows. I like to hug that side control CLOSE to the chest. This plan is for non wrestlers and hay maker throwing cavemen. In my head of course. I would never grind my elbows into a drunk guys eyebrows after he shoulder bumped me in a 711 doorway, using the asphalt as a cushion for the back of his head. I'd literally never do that, cause I can't fight for shit, and it's in my head.
@@joelasher3155 Forest was injured in that fight camp and rumors had that he maybe was even KO'd. The guy had a shit training camp. Not saying Griffin would have won. Just that it should have been more competitive

False comment. Fighting is timeless
Mat Cha no it’s not. No 90’s champion could beat a top 10 fighter of the 2020
Silva really was like a fighting computer. Analyze the data and then strike with absolute efficiency and deadliness.
Like Taskmaster from marvel
Notice how Anderson always looked to see how badly hurt his opponent was before continuing a barrage. Respect. Also great knee striker!
His knees and Muay Thai clinch was absolutely lethal! Just so dam quick and fast with those knees! Something no one mentions tho is his flexibility was on a whole another level! To throw those knees up the way he did to guys heads while they was standing straight is insane!
@@UteroGaming yes his flexibility was the highest. It also initially enabled him to have a lethal leg strike to the face when anyone sat on top of him and tried to punch and elbow him to death. The heel in the face blow was almost certain knockput, but inexplicably the MMA banned the move as illegal! What? Apparently its less dangerous for bigger people to sit on top of ypu and pummel you to death slowly. The latter is boring and disastrous for brain damage, so what is MMA doing here?9

The fact that he pauses to make sure they arent completely out when they go down before he gets on there ass, is true sportsmanship

The way he hits with surgical precision is just mind blowing. When Silva gets into that mode he goes into he makes any fighter he’s up against look like an amateur even other champions. He’s so fast he makes his opponents look like their in slow motion. In that moment he goes into that mode you can see the look on the other fighters that they are completely overwhelmed and realize there’s nothing they can do to block or dodge the hits.
