    • No kidding! I was shocked to see Oliveira tap so quickly! I thought he was gonna at least try to roll before tapping, but it seemed so tight he couldn't do anything! Really impressive.

  • Lamas is a very under appreciated fighter. When he reached a make or break point in his career it didn't go his way n he stopped getting the respect he deserves after that. Hes a very well rounded, exciting, dangerous fighter who can beat anyone in the division on any given night & I include the champion in that assessment. 145 is the richest, deepest talent pool in MMA right now with a top 6 or 7 the best its ever been but none of them have a better skill set than Lamas. Don't sleep on him, on any given night.

I asked him about his next fight against Darren Elkins and wished him a good victory. I went back to Twin Peaks to watch that same fight. The whole restaurant erupted in cheer when he won. I did do. • Watched him submit Bermudez that night in Mexico City. Not only is he a good fighter but also a nice guy to his fans. The next day I spotted him at the airport going through security. I asked him for a picture from afar. He nodded yes. We took the picture. Right as he left after thanking me for the support Mexican airport security came told me to stay, to delete the photo and he would be back to confirm I did. I was confused and so was Ricardo. Ricardo walked with him and asked why. Ricardo came back told me it was for security-related reasons and he will wait for me outside of that area to retake the picture. 5 minutes later I was let go and to my surprise Ricardo was there with his brother and 2 other individuals waiting for me. We took 2 pictures and thanked me again. A while later my brother and I came across with him and his brother. We spoke for a couple minutes and my brother took pictures with him too. He could have ignored me or tell me to fuck off. Nobody would of have ever known about it. He's a professional in and out of the cage.
