    • I think most fans are on the Khamzat hype train. He's good but look at the talent that Usman tore through on his way to being champ. I think it's his recent loss that everyone remembers. Also I got to love a guy who shut Colby up by breaking his jaw! One way to make a guy shut the fuck up.

  • People confuse the supreme confidence of Khamzat with cockiness. He isn't cocky. Fighters like Colby are but Khamzat up till now has backed every word he said. As long as he's not an ahole and straight up starts insulting other fighters their family to the point they spiral into a depression, he should be good.

    • Everybody beginning that career backs up their words if they are good now we get to find out if they are championship caliber good. Don’t forget Gilbert came very close to winning. If there was one more round left, Gilbert would have finished khamzat. Usman finished Gilbert with just a jab. I think Usman will pull it off. He hits harder for sure.

    • why would that surprise you? Usman took the fight on 11 days notice he wasn't bulking up to be a middleweight, do you not understand how weight cutting works? they cut like 20lbs of water the week of the fight to make 170 than rehydrate to 190+, so instead of doing that he's just not cutting water weight and fighting at his WW walk-around weight of ~190. If he had time to plan to fight at MW he'd be 200-210 and cut from there to 185.
