@@hischam0698 Didn’t against Askren, Neil did good locking up clinches and takedowns, and Robbie was avoiding over committing to punches against Colby because he knew thats when the double leg was going to come. Nick isn’t going for a clinch or a takedown though. Styles make matchups.

Don’t sleep on Lawler, his last 3 losses didn’t look good but it was mostly the grappling that wore him out, Nick isn’t going to do that. He’s going to strike with him. Lets hope for a war.

@@JamesHussain82 It makes sense cuz the fight should've been stopped way earlier imo when Robbie was landing bombs and totally beating the shit outta Askren. Then Robbie gets submitted and it's one of the most questionable submission stoppages in the UFC so Robbie's performance was pretty good in my book....

Out of all the terrible old head fights going on like tito getting miserably KOd, this is an old head fight that is done right, and solidly worth seeing.

Tito getting knocked out though was pretty satisfying. It was karma for the farce that was the third Chuck vs Tito fight and the fact Tito celebrated as if he just won a UFC belt.
@@madgavin7568 I think there's a something wrong with these older celebrities trying to hang on to the glory days. Somewhat sad. Tito wasn't any good at standup, and was foolhardy further with Silva.
@@beegchunguz7425 A lot of it stems from ego, but it's also a face for money in actuality as few fighters will admit they're fighting simply for the money. Many still have the itch to compete and its one too much to scratch. In the case of Tito, I can imagine it mostly stemming from ego since he's seeing all these new, younger fighters becoming stars and he wants a piece of the action. He wants to be remembered because Tito still remembers he himself being the most talked about name in the sport of MMA.
I wouldn't be so sure that this is 'an old fight done well'. Lawler has looked pedestrian in his last few fights and Nick hasn't fought since 2015.

The only reason why I started watching and continued following the UFC is the Diaz Bro’s. I think they’re an inspiration to every kid out there who didn’t have that parental guidance and support behind them while growing up. They’re considered the bad boys in MMA. I think they, along with the rat pack, are the good guys who made it all the way from Stockton by supporting each other like the family they didn’t necessarily have on their own. How Dana doesn’t appreciate that I’ll never understand.

I started watching ufc only by late 2016. I saw UFC 205, Conor was amazing. And I learnt he lost to a guy that year. It was Nate. I did not want to like Nate. But I just did. He was a gangster, then I learnt he has a brother. Something about Nick, he’s mysterious. Then binge watched all his fights. Man I’m really happy that I get to see him perform.
