You know with that being said, that is one of the reasons why I like Gilbert because he took on any fights without complaining after losing to Usman. He had a good chance in winning that belt when he clipped Usman in that Championship bout. But that new discovered side of Gilbert after that loss is the young reflection of Jorge back in his prime where it was like that feeling or saying - feed me to any pack of wolves and I will come out WIN or LOSE. Jorge isn't washed out, he is just dealing with a new era of young talented breed fighters. People forget the backyard fights, the TRANSITIONS and the EVOLUTION of this sport. It is Crazy how the sports has evolved. Much respect to both fighters. That is why they call him GAMEBRED.

You would think they would take care of both men. They been low siding Burns for a long time, underrating him, and playing short notice to fill seats. Masvidal has been short noticed for many fights (that is one of the things that started his loose streak) he has always been a 5 round fighter. They stuff him with 3 round fights. So NO the UFC has not and will not take care of either fighter. They have done so many of the same things to both fighters and now that Masvidal is toward the end (maybe) the UFC is getting revenge for him dictating things when he was champ and using his popularity. The UFC will get even with Burns at some point for his demands. The SLEEZY f#@ks in UFC always get revenge on the very people that built it, the people that pack the house, and the people that give the most to the UFC.
@@cjp72096 The man gave th3 toughest time to khamzat who has been terrorizing every fighter, and arguably won the fight too so you can sit on your couch and be a casual who has never thrown a punch to know what is it really like.
I find it funny how Gilbert has been left out of every title conversation at 170. Belal has it bad, but I honestly feel Gilbert has a claim too.

Burns is the model fighter for any organization. The man fights with truck loads of heart, truck loads of respect, truck loads of skill and power. Burns deserves title shots, not just because he is a BMF but he has earned it in every way. Burns is what this country needs to get back to. It would be a better place if more people acted like him. Masvidal is one of the greats, no matter how you slice it 80 to 100 total fights and over 20 years. He is not done. He will be back in a fight before the end of the year.

That Usman knockout ended Jorge's career he was never the same after that knockout and still after that he fought Colby and went 5 rounds and now went 3 rounds against Burns and a reminder this man is almost 39 he showed so much heart finally the OG era is coming to an end in MMA..Gonna miss you Gambred ❤

Colby controlled Jorge with wrestling for 25 mins. Gilbert used his style well to pressure with strikes then take the shot whenever he sees an opening for a takedown. Colby just stayed on Jorge the whole time. Nobody in the division besides maybe Chimaev can ride guys like Colby. D1 national champ in college. Gilbert fought awesome tonight though and I knew he’d beat Jorge.
