People are easily moved by a fighter's performance in a certain round, (Burns almost finishing Khamzat at the end of the round 2), that they start mixing up the next round with it. Khamzat got a lot of strikes on Burns in round 3, the jab was on full display. Burns only got some significant strikes in the last minute, which is definitely not enough to win the round.

  • The fight was close. Should have been a 5 rounder. I remember Burns fighting Woodley not long ago and going at a crazy pace for 5 rounds. He looked drained here. Gotta go back to that old conditioning method. Both had 1 round a piece, and in the third, Burns was tired, Chimaev did more, but in the end Burns really messed him up and Chimaev really slowed down. We needed two more rounds, the championship rounds for this one.
