Daukaus has a lot of speed in his right hand but no feet. Ciryl showed how footwork can negate power and counters. If Daukaus doesn't improve his footwork and positioning he'll get countered and KO'd. Lewis has scary power.
Well if we are comparing who has better footwork, lewis definitely does not have it, I think daukus will win this fight, he has fast hands with power, decent footwork, and good cardio something derrick doesn’t really have, but as I say this I will probably eat my words😂

Fast hands vs Heavy hands. Daukaus moves so well for a HW it's hard to see Lewis landing that KO shot.
I dunno. I think y’all forget that Lewis is surprisingly quick for a Super Heavyweight. Look at how he knocked out smaller, quicker guys like Oleynik and Browne. And how he completely outclassed a much smaller, quicker Latifi. And even though he lost, he kept pace with, arguably, the fastest Heavyweight currently in the UFC, that being JDS. Daukaus beat Abdurakhimov ‘cause the guy presented his chin on a silver platter. He still couldn’t get a clean KO. Lewis has literally the most knockouts in UFC Heavyweight history. I think Lewis will knock this kid clean tf out.

An athletic guy is naturally going to move faster than someone who has 20 pounds over them. And the only "arguments" occurring about whether Lewis beat Latifi are among imbeciles. Latifi spent half the fight hugging Lewis to avoid his power, like Bruno did with Tyson in the rematch. The few takedowns he got were pointless, none of his strikes caused damage, and Lewis had 4x as many significant strikes as him. Put the glass dick down, son.

i think that after the gane's fight, lewis may have improve a lot, he fought better than he ever did against gane, he was just too good for him, if he follows this path, with a good gameplan, i'm pretty sure that he can beat daukaus (even if he tries to fight him like gane fought him)

This fight isn't about Lewis, hes a proven quantity, this fight is about Daukus being able to step up into main event status. Is it too soon ? Can he handle Lewis's fight ending power ? If he can go the distance can he beat a fighter of Lewis's quality on points ? How effective is Daukus hands really ? We kno hes quick but has he got enough venom to keep Lewis respectful ? Its an interesting fight. Daukus has to be smart, not cowardly. Hes gotts kno when to let the bullets fly n when to take cover. First plan of action has to be to make it to the final bell. Second plan of action is to do as much damage as possible in the windows of opportunity. If Daukus can do that he will grow from the experience n we could be looking at the next Stipe Miocic (who is far from finished) This is a giant step up by Daukus.
