There's a big problem with this whole thing, they are letting a COIN TOSS decide who gets to go first, and there is no advantage to going second from what I can see unless they let you slap twice to 'catch up'. A lot of these guys are getting KOed by these undefended shots to the face, so how do you accept that a simple coin toss might mean you get KOed before even getting a chance to slap back?
So, what do you suggest? Maybe a small randomized challenge before each fight? Could be a mix of physical or mental activities to determine who picks 1st or second? It would create some extra drama and add a little spice to it all. From what i've seen, many choose to go second... I guess to show 'no fear' or something

When you hear about actual skilled and trained mma fighters getting '10 and 10' for a full camp, a fight week, and hopefully a win in a globally televised mma bout (if you lose the entire 2-3 months work has netted you $10k before tax, so now they have 7 grand to pay coaches, bills, food, travel, medical, etc..), and then think to yourself, "yes I want some of that action" with way lower pay and no benefits while racking up CTE points? Even in the UFC there are dudes getting their bones broken and suffering permanent organ damage, but Dana still refuses to give his fighters higher pay. Some UFC pay-per-view fights have made just as much money as boxing pay-per-views, yet the boxers earned a guaranteed salary in the millions while the UFC fighters only a few hundred thousands. I don't really think he's really cared much about fighters health.
