Olympic Gold Medalist turned controversial King of Cringe, Henry Cejudo, looks back on his 11-month journey of becoming a double champion by toppling the winningest UFC champion, defending his Flyweight title, and snagging the vacant Bantamweight belt, thus dubbing himself "Triple C" - a three-time world combat champion.

  • The King of Cringe saved the Flyweight division because he brought viewers. Those guys are so skilled but get overlooked because they’re small. It took Triple C to sacrifice his image as a well respected Mexican American Olympic champion to this cringy big mouth egotistical crazy person to save that division. He needs to be praised as a top 10 ufc fighter of all time at all times for what he did.

  • Henry created a character & successfully saved a division in which we've seen some amazing fights over the years. The division has grown exponentially as well with sure to be great fights in the future. Cejudo's had my respect since winning gold in 2008. If more people only understood how incredibly grueling wrestling actually is more people would respect him for that accomplishment alone.

  • Wats true but never stated is Henry is actually the most accomplished UFC fighter in multiple divisions. Meaning, no one else has ever successfully fought and defended belts in two different divisions, and he did it simultaneous, so if the next person isn't a simulataneous champ but defended both belts, they still wont b as accomplished as Cejudo without some interesting caveat of their own, which makes his position as the most accomplished multi division fighter UFC ever even harder to take from him...

    • Agreed. But he took that opportunity and ran with it. Just kept improving. Kept stacking accomplishments. Which later granted us that decimation of TJ Cheatashaw. Then DJ got traded out. He was being mistreated as champ by the UFC. Which allowed DJ to further cement his legacy. So I can't even be mad at it. It worked out great for both men.
