@@guyver8081 To be fair, RDA is getting up in age and since like 2017 hes lost to all the real top contenders. Hes beat a lot of good guys since 2017 but the fights that mattered hes lost. For example colby, usman, edwards, Fiziev. Not saying he sucks at all but hes been given many many chance yo move back up. He forsure has the best resume of any fighter. Hes literally fought everyone at 55 and 70. Im happy he won the belt at least. Hed be the biggest and best gatekeeper of all time if hes fought everyone but never won the belt.

I think RDA has the toughest resume. He fought 7 UFC champions, and the interim champions included. 2 of those champions became the top 1 P4P fighter as well. RDA literally fought every top contender and champion that was faced to him. What a legend!

To RDAs credit UFC should def shuffle that lw division up, give some new blood some chances to fight the top guys, if the top guys aren’t willing to do it then lower their ranking. The title is basically on hold for most of next year, and depending on how that fight plays out there could be a rematch, prolonging the next time we see someone different fight for the title

RDA is lucky he pulled out of the Mcgregor fight 10 days before their fight. Mgregor was on fire back then and RDA gets hit. Eddie Alvarez knocked out RDA. Conor made Eddie look like a normal guy off the street and landed the sweetest 4 punch KO combo I've ever seen in the UFC.

Fuck, man, I keep saying, get Conor and RDA against each other for his comeback. Two legends, big history between each other that can be marketed, a fight that never happened, a run in right as Conor broke his leg. Honestly, RDA is a killer, never ever having taken an easy fight, having fought every other world class killer available. And now it lines up even better with RDA wanting to fight legends and at 170lbs.

Conor fighting RDA makes a lot of sense. RDA has had success in the past at welterweight so it gives him an actual excuse to to up rather than the hard truth that he can't make 155 nor compete at that weight class. Fighting lightweights at WW because you can't make/don't want to cut weight is just dumb. There's also a lot of history between the two, and if anyone deserves the pay day it's RDA, dude has fought everybody. I appreciate him bringing up the facts about the top five guys at LW, there's so many up and comers ready to takeover and the top dogs are aging and don't want to fight those guys, and instead prefer to do anything to cling to their ranking.
This man is the current BMF...Saying current cuz Michael Bisping retired in 2017 and I believe that RDA will be the BMF at the end of his career
