He refused to take a fight for over a year hence why Porier and Holloway fought for the Interim belt, so this myth that he kept on taking fights is bullshit. Fair play he took this fight, but he was absolutely outclassed from start to finish. Fact of the matter is, the one guy he fought who isn't a perfect match up for him, whooped his ass. Khabib's ground is still to powerful for Gaethje, but a Gaethje vs Conor fight would be crazy! It would be awesome if Nate would stop the puff for the short term and train train train for a respectable matched fight, maybe Poirer. Pettis is also right there improving ready for more. Wonderboy needs a fight! So many options for great fights. Too bad Masvidal won't fight Khabib. I wonder if Masvidal would step down to meet Gaethje? I'm just rambling.. • Dana, consider taking a cue from the NFL Draft. My solution for the absence of crowd: You can sell a 1000 or more “virtual” tickets to those with webcams. They get to watch the fight while also contributing to being in the virtual crowd. You could use the LED screen that wraps the arena OR surround the octagon with large projector screens and fill it with those fans. You then take the audio from them and pump it through the PA. As an added base to the virtual fans, you can play a canned crowd to add to the experience surrounding the event. Now you are getting real reactions. The fighters and announcers have something to feed off of.

    • Lucky? I'm not a Cejudo fan and honestly I was rooting for Dom to win. But he was getting his ass handed to him by Cejudo. Triple C was faster, stronger, super well prepared, and in another round or two he would have turned Dom into a cripple with those vicious leg kicks. That stoppage just saved Dom from a more vicious beating. He literally could not do anything at all against Cejudo. Couldn't hit him, couldn't avoid being hit, and had zero chance of taking him down to the mat. It was a really legit win by Cejudo.
