I was riding on the bus and this idea came to my mind. I think it should be a requirement to every fight for the final 10 seconds of the final round to just go blow for blow with each other.
Holloway kind of invented it honestly hes done that like 6 times already, he even said after the fight he knew if the positions where reversed Justin would have done the same meaning "I know im winning but lets go crazy and see if you can take it back".

Max DOMINATED that fight from start to finish... and ended it with one of the most spectacular KO's in UFC history.
The broken nose was legit, the nasty 2 eyepokes were unfortunate. Broken nose messes your eyes up (I’ve broken mine 3x) and then to get eye DEEP eye pokes immediately, Max should keep them hands shut cause that was mad lame. The KO was solid and he did a good job, but the eye pokes irritated me. Definitely helped.

Crazy to see that they both still had enough gas left in the tank to trade blows like that in the bottom of the 5th round. A few shots were just shy of missing Holloway's head, just same as the shot that connected on Gaethje's chin. It really is ballsy to just stand their and trade blows like that, just waiting for one person to connect. Respect, but it really could have gone either way, just based on a fraction of a second or a slight movement here or there.

Only card that comes to mind was one of the first UFC ESPN events, the one with Brazilians in almost every fight, but that's literally the only card that was on par with 300.

You can’t ask for anything better: -UFC *300* (ufc 300 was still an underwhelming card) -BMF Title -2 respected legends -exciting fight ALL 5 rounds -Stand And Bang last 10 seconds -KO at very last second This was a fight for the HOF and they both deserve the HOF
