  • Nothing went "wrong" for Izzy. Strickland just shut down the entire game of Izzy and not letting izzy pick of from range with legkicks. Izzy could barely land a kick. Amazing performance from Sean.

Sean pressured him the whole fight, didn’t overextend and open himself up to be countered, and broke Izzy by the end, hence why Izzy was still backing up at the end when he knew he needed a finish. Alex was dominant every time he was applying pressure but didn't have the cardio, sharpness or defense to match. Sean has it all, smothered kicking range to take away the only weapon izzy has. Forced him into boxing range where izzy has awful boxing on the back foot. For the life of me his team needs to teach him how to clinch and use trips. He offered 0. Landed a jab every 5 and had no answer for in the pocket scraps. Changing of the guard. 6 years on top is alot longer than what most people recognize. 34 izzy is past his peaks for sure. • Dana’s petty favoritism towards Izzy is so apparent when he’s talking about the main event saying Izzy was slow and he expected a “different main event” than what went down.

  • We overuse the phrase "biggest ever". This is not a bigger upset than Serra's win over GSP or Bisping's win over Rockhold.

  • Izzy looked just like Izzy. He just underestimated Sean. Just trying to defend the cover of the UFC 5 game.

  • Izzy did NOT look like he was in "Slow motion". The disrespect being thrown at Strickland who essentially shut down an elite level kickboxer is actually disgraceful 😤
