This man made me feel proud of being Mexican, and I’m italian.

Lol
@@lorddaquanofhouserastafari4177 No sir, he said "nacemos ..." Prior to him saying it, he says "... a toda mi gente Mexicana...de Mexico, de Estados Unidos, acuerdate que nosotros nacemos donde chingados queremos." He's talking about Mexican Americans, and Mexicans being Mexicans alike. It´s an old saying coined by Chabela Vargas, a Costa Rican born singer who lived in Mexico, and considered herself Mexican.

Figgie is such a humble man. Took this loss like a champ without even making obvious excuses like how much the weight cut drains him.
Moreno took it to him from the start fig knew he lost fair, and couldnt really say shit, or he'd look like vettori😂
I dont like to say it much but Figgy is a true God fearing Christian. Good guy all around with a level head, he just happens to be the most violent man at 125lbs 🤣

“Im just a fk kid from Mexico that got into this for passion/love” “I want to tell all my people in Mexico that you can do it, you can do it, im right here” “I come from a country were we always say “yes we can” and sometimes we cant but this time we could, we did it”
No lies, I hadn't even heard of Moreno before his first Figgy fight, but now, I'm a fan for life. Dude is one of a very few real life Rocky stories
Watch his fight vs Alejandre Pantoja. It was the first fight of The Ultimate Fighter that season and it was SIIICK! He said to the crowd after a UFC victory one night, "I'm going to be champion some day. Ok? I promise." I didn't believe him when he said it. I thought it was cute lmao.
I remember being blown away with him on tuf for how young he was. Crazy to see how his career has gone since then with being cut and coming back to be champion
Yeah it's unfortunate that I didn't even know who he was. I kind of want to go back and watch his whole career now, because this seems like one of the most important success stories ever. Especially when you look at the brick of muscle, in Figurerdo, who looks like a genuine Yoel Romero light.
