Stops in PRIDE FC, EliteXC, and Strikeforce between his two stints with the UFC, the former welterweight champion has put together quite the collection of highlights in his near 20-year MMA career so far.

People forget sometimes he has three straight fight of the years and one of them is no doubt fight of the decade
what are the other two?
Mcdonald Condit and....
James Klotz his fights with hendricks and condit
Probably best UFC fight of all time
Crazimo WHO WAS ON HIS LIVE STREAM? kzhead.info/sun/oLyqh9N9jGKqoGg/bejne.html
Hall of famer for sure. You could make a movie on this guy's career what a beast!
@Ali Abdelaziz 🐀
Lol that movies sounds like it’d be boring af
@@familylivesmatters 🤣 you must be a big fan of the twilight movies!
@Ali Abdelaziz you stole another mans name to use as your KZhead handle.... You really shouldn't be calling anybody "gayass"!
Mr. D Mr. D hangs Lowe I don’t get it... nice joke tho I guess
Everytime he fights i swear it seems like he's either Fighting for his life or for his ailing mother. Definitely one of the most exciting fighter ever!!!
Not his last fight
Sitthichai oh you definitely right lol just lost money on that fight lol
Sitthichai Sams to you my friend
Remember when colby made him his bitch
you didnt saw the colby fight then? but yeah robbie is an animal for sure
2:53 look at lawler fix his legs what a nice guy
Didn’t hit him either when he was sparked
Yeah. I actually can't recall I've seen a fighter do that before.
That was badass.
Lol
That had me dyin. 🤣
This dudes a icon of the sport. I’m a huge fan of Robbie I’ve been watching him since the strikeforce days. Such a warrior hope he wins Saturday and still proves he still got it. Can’t wait to see him go into hall of fame!
100th like
Well... he lost 30-27
That Robbie vs Rory stare-down is the most iconic and badass moment of UFC ever, this 5 seconds itself deserves to be put in hall of fame.
Just absolute savagry
That fight is a blood bath Props to both of them
It's honestly terrifying man. That was my introduction to Lawler and.. Damn bro. I hate he's not as famous because he isn't an outside octagon performer.
That's dumb
I got concussed watching this
Loool
Soft
His lip at the end lol
@@removalman7963 you're name is removal man
@All Lives Matter called hypochondria mate. Or I just got baited 🤷🏼♂️
İ think he is one of the most underrated fighters all time.He is already in a legend status
Why is he underrated? I don't get what you're saying, he's a former champ.
@@retrowrath9374 so? that doesn't mean he gets the respect he deserves
@@DomSavocaMMA He doesn't get the respect he deserves because all his title wins are split decisions. Both Condit and Hendricks were robbed and Macdonald was winning on points in their fight. Tyron Woodley and Chris Weidman are the most underrated champs
@@cognito8325 Macdonald made Woodley looking like a clown
@@vulturu.x4329 Macdonald was outboxing Lawler as well.
Seeing woodley ko him had me devastated.
Still had a great carrer and always brings it👍
Broke my heart man
Jagraj Bassi At least woodley has already recieved his 3 piece and a soda 2 times in a row. And will get some more from Colby soon
@some boby Hendricks too before he missed weight 400 times and became washed up
@@sarcasticgenius8563 oh you mean when he was juiced right ?
Robbie gave everything to MMA. Hopefully he’s able to have a normal life after all those wars.
Sadly UFC is a greedy organization.. so he probably won't get much unless he can promote himself like McGregor
Unfortunately he does show some cognitive decline. He’s a tough dude, but taking this fight in 3 weeks is nuts
Unfortunately I'm an expert and I have a lot of edgy things to say about this.
He's among the most durable humans I've seen. I think he'll be ok
One day he will kill someone in a street fight and he will end at jail. The end
Beast edit. Finally. They need to do this for the old school fighters, people forget how long they been in the game. And judge them bc their old now. Respect the game. Robby is crazy lol
Too many casuals watching mma these days...
Amazing, I've seen casuals commenting on Fedor vs Mitrione he didn't have a chance...
Ouch, if he loses again, he will lose his rank unfortunatley. another one bites the dust, if so. And..That ground game........ ehh...
Not only is he a great fighter, he's an even greater man.
Facts bro, you saw how he handled that loss against ben askren? Most fighters would be mad but he took it like a champ, I have so much respect for him and I hope he wins his fight against magny
This dude gives me the chills. Ruthless suits him but he is more like a Violence.
All professionals have to be violent. Ruthless was the perfect name for Lawler
Nah but Robby is violence Like you how reaper is considered “death” but not a killer Yeah Robby is just straight up Vioence Not violent Violence. I hope it makes sense there levels to being violent and just straight up violence I’d rather fight someone consider violent then someone that’s known as violence 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This video paints a really good picture. The contrast of his early years as a banger to the composed and sharpened fighter he became is something to see. I'm no fighter and can't say I've ever had any formal training but anyone who's followed this sport and knows about Robbie can see this.
Real talk, man
Agreed! Once he started to face the elite of the division, he had to adjust his approach. Great fighter! Great video! !
I wish they showed some of his losses to further show his development, like when he lost to Nick diaz
Sad that Rory was never the same in the UFC after fighting Him. He was a great technician.
Yeah helped me repair my PC
He was just never the same after. Even in bellator.
Nesquiksurprise 🙈You ain’t serious.😅
@@leadman2532 The fact that Lima permanently damaged his leg in his Bellator debut probably didn't help.
I wish he'd have a resurgence like Robbie Lawler when he came back into the UFC in 2013. I sure hope so 😣🤞🏽
The most violent fighter of all time but also one of the nicest guys outside the cage.
Hell yeah
Gaethje is pretty violent too
TheSamp00 For sure man I’d also say Jeremy Stephens too.
That's how it usually is nice guys with strong wills that get hurt emotionally
Let’s be real though. Nobody is trying to fuck with Robbie Lawler outside of the cage. Show me one instance where Robbie Lawler had an altercation with somebody outside of the cage. Or somebody started shit with Robbie. It doesn’t exist.
People say they love bisping finally getting the title. But Robbie was considered a failed prospect. Ten years later he takes the title and defend it twice in fight of the year performances. Robbie was never supposed to reach the heights of the sport. But he did with grit , effort and a never say die attitude. The greatest career resurgence ever.
Legend of the Sport 🤯
You too. LEGEND OF COMMENTING on you tube 🤭😂
I see you everywhere lol
Hahaha
I haven't seen yet a fight that can beat Lawler vs Rory. When he was screaming with a lip cut open saying "still" he is like a horrifying deamon.
Great fight but in my opinion. Mark Hunt vs Bigfoot Silva can top this one ☝️
dongmanChoi I see Choi in the name so I don’t really need to comment it. The name says it all 😉
02:54 I love the way he places his opponent's legs after knocking him out. 😂
Just imagine a fight between Lawler and Gaethje...
PvP lawler would break Justin's face
Prime welterweight champ Robbie would probably ko Justin
Right now Gaethje destroys him, prime for prime Lawler probably just outguns him.
Damn hes been fighting for so long he had hair when he started
he looks pretty good bald
Hahaha...
@@steveabrams4314 He's one of those guys that was just meant to be bald. His head is perfect lol
“I’m not taking his neck, I’m taking his soul” - scariest sentence ever spoken by an MMA fighter
If he got back the years those wars took off him, he'd be immortal
Mauro’s Pride commentary was simply legendary. In actuality, ALL of his commentary is legendary! Ruthless is a savage!! 💯 🔥
Mama miaaaaaa
@broootal warp agreed
@broootal warp maybe bas
Mans been around forever, true warrior 👊🏻
I dont understand how he didnt sell 600k ppv's when he was champion. He is a savage and always goes for the kill.
Imagine a shit talking Lawler... would have been the first McGregor.
Cuz people racist and they don't wanna see Robbie win. Dats why Tyron Woodley went on to become a star cuz they happy Robbie lost cUz dEY RacIsT. That's why Robbie didn't sell ppv
Popularity has as much to do with trash talk and charisma as it has to do with how good and entertaining the fighter is. Dudes like Lawler, Dustin, Luque, Pedro Munhoz are amazing action fighters who win a lot, but are also like, just chill dudes that fight. They are not "epic smonk weed gangsta too real" like the Diaz brothers or have some funny quips in an irish accent.
THE REAL BMF CHAMPION 🔥🔥🔥
Masvidal is. But him and Robbie should be for that strap
@@SuperPeterok it's gonna be usman now
@@vojvoda-draza if he finishes Masvidal then yes. If it's the same result as last time then no.
18 plus years in the game. Still Top ranked!!! He’s a Beast!!!
You see how he set his opponent's legs down at 2:53? What a respectful guy
8:06 this is one of the most badass moment in the whole ufc
Will always be one of my all time favorites, absolute savage when the bell rings, gentleman once the fight is done, will always root for Robbie
Lawyer is my all time favorite fighter he doesn’t care about anything but fighting and family straight badass
Robbie has had way to many fights. Will be a miracle if his mind stays intact in later years! Great fighter.
When Robbie spit blood at Rory after having his ass handed to him for that sequence it gave me chills
His fight with Melvin Manhoef is also one of the best comeback one punch wins in MMA history
One of my all time favorite fighters. I ALWAYS tune in when Robbie is fighting. Wanna see him make a run for that title again!
Times when Covington paid for Lawler's beer and Usman was still in RUF
When him and Rory stare at each other i get chills everytime
This guy's fights are legendary, he was never in a boring fight. One of my all time favourite fighters to watch for sure. Lawler vs MacDonald 2 was probably the best fight I've ever seen, sadly though, Rory was never the same after that fight.
This guy is effin ruthless man, his didn’t lose against askren he never tapped. That fight was stupid. But Whatever askren got put in a grave for getting that fake W.
Its not Askrens fault.
Robbie softened him up for the knee lol
Lol you realise lawler went limp aye. He was out. You dont know when you go to sleep. Wjy he never admited it
Come on dude i like robbie but there’s no denying the fact that he definitely went to 💤
I mean it wasnt his choice tho. He just fought
Haha, I like how he gingerly placed that dude's feet on the mat after that Strikeforce knockout. Lawler, a savage & a gentleman.
Lawler has done it all. Countless highlight reel knockouts, fights of the year, 5 round title fights. He is a living legend.
He just beat Mcdonald down he had absolutely nothing left to give
Yeah u can tell Rory had the heart but he was just give out
Robbie’s a beast! Been fighting forever.
at his peak, one of the most savage fighter the octagon has ever seen, his championship run will always be legendary
Heart, warrior, skill, power, mixed arsenal and humble. The best fighter package for me. I cannot wait to see you in action again Robbie! You are missed Big shout out and love from Denmark
No footage of the Condit fight. Guess I shouldn't be surprised
He's obviously a future hall of famer. Also one great stand up guy all around. He's a legend.
A no BS true fighter who comes to give his all, no doubt legend status.
How he’s been able to have so many awesome fights for this long is incredible
What an Absolute Legend!!!!!! 20+ years in the game, and can still rock with anyone in the Top 10
One of UFC's all time fan favourite fighter
The best fight in this career fighting McDonald one of the best fights ever
One of my favorite fighters of all time. He's as tenacious and mean as a wolverine!
Fighting 18yrs! Been at the top and had some downs but what a legend he is! People sleep on how brutal Lawler was
His name should be Robbie ‘brawler’ Lawler
Nah Ruthless is perfect
Ruthless fits him 10 times better
That makes zero sense
One of my favorite fighters of all time
People forget what an absolute legend this man is. Awesome video
I don't normally comment on the ufc channel, but Lawler is one of my all time favourite to watch. From MacDonald - championship, to losing it, to his attitude toward herb Dean after his loss. He's such a warrior and class act. Have to love a stand-up warrior like Robbie.
5:02 he sounds like that “oof” Roblox sound effect
I remember watching him fight in Hawaii. He was such a beast and he only loss to Mayhem in Hawaii
Lawler, in my opinion, gave us two of the greatest MMA fights of all time. The dude is a contract killer.
He reminds me of hands of stone Roberto Duran, Robbie Lawler is one of my all time favorites he represents fighting at it best, Blood,Guts and determination. There`s no dull moments when he steps into the octagon and if your paying to see him fight you get your monies worth that`s for sure. The fight with Macdonald was what people come to see nothing boring when them two step into the octagon, them two together is a show for all times. Great video.
Every body has their time in the ufc, Lawler already have His best time in the UFC in the past, but now i think His time is up.
rip for the people cleaning up after lawler vs mcdonald
Top 10 favorite fighters. And Robbie is a great, humble and awesome human being
Hes been involved in so many great fights. Absoulte legend. Respect from england
True legend... RUTHLESS ONE! 👊🏽
2:48 he is a really nice guy for putting his legs together while he knocked him cold lmfao hahahhaa
really shows how much he has knocked out people in training probably.
The Lawler titles fights in the UFC was a big reason I got hooked on MMA! Legend!
Such an exciting and tremendously talented fighter. Every time he fought you knew it was gonna be a dog fight. He doesn’t need a to talk crap before the fight to get in your head cuz he’s been there the whole time. In my top 5 for sure
They should’ve also had his debut fight for superbrawl in Hawaii vs falaniko vitale. Lawler ko’s vitale then vitale’s sista jumps in da ring and swings on lawler. If you haven’t seen it yet and can find it your welcome
He’s a machine loved seeing all his fights over the years !
That stare down at the end of i think the 4th round all bloody faced refusing to sit down is priceless. You play this before a battle in war and not one soldier will retreat✊🏾💯
1 of my greatest mma fighter, i never get bored in all of his fights, specially those championship fights of him including the fight with red king classic.👍👍👍 i miss him fighting
Really hope Robbie stops with the counter punch, head hunting game plan. He looked inactive at best against his most recent matchup.
“I keep coming and trying to knock people out!!!!!”
I met Robbie twice at different events and he was the nicest dude! By far my favorite fighter of all time.
One of the best ever . Will fight anybody with 10 mins notice . Hall of famer for sure 👍🏻
Defo be in the hall of fame (if he's not already)
MacDonald was truly a warrior in that fight
It is always a honor to wach Mr. Robbie Lawler fight, but this particular one is out of this world
Robbie Lawler deserves all of our respect. He is violent, professional and always exciting to watch.
They didn't show the Condit fight I wonder why...
How he couldn't land one good shot in Colby in 3 rounds? If he had he could have changed the complexion of the fight potentially. Power's the last thing to go right?
Mr.Wolfchamp 1999 that was a 5 round fight
@@kenwelsh4995 Oh yeah that's right. It was for the title. Thanks.
@Darren Reddix why wasn't the belt on the line?
@Darren Reddix Interim belts have been defended before haven't they?
Mr.Wolfchamp 1999 it wasn’t for the title...it was just a main event at a fight night card in Newark, NJ...I only remember bc I was there.
That blood spit into that death stare, iconic moment at 8:01
A True Veteran of the sport of MMA. Absolutely LEGEND!!!
This still ranks in my books ahead of the Weili Joanna as one of the best fights ever. Takes special 'beasts' to go to the dark places these guys do in fights. Respect!
Prime lawler vs Matt Hughes would’ve been so cool both guys are opposites in style
Their are very few fighters where it genuinely feels like you’re watching him make the other person fight for their life. Robbie Lawler is one of them.
My favorite fighter! Ruthless Robbie Lawler!
Lawler became more “RUTHLESS” with his declining hairline!!!
It’s so hard to not like Robbie, he literally puts it all on the line every time he fights. That kill or be killed mentality. The stare down after the bell with Rory is one of the greatest stare downs of all time.
Always fun to watch this guy fight. A real warrior.
One of my favorite personalities IN the octagon fighting but he is so quiet in interviews. He's a legendary old school meets new school fighter. HoF'er!
In his prime, he was just pure violence, amazing!
That stare down with Rory after the 4th round was straight gangsta.
Dude nice video man,
Lawler alone has helped groom me into the fan I am today. We love you Robbie ! You hear me boy ? 😃
