I'm not mad at the stopage, probably the person who is angrier at the stopage is the fighter, and I get it. Imagine training your ass off for weeks just to lose in a way were think you MIGHT have recovered. And honestly dude I respect fighters a lot for that shit, you gotta have massive balls to enter an octagon, and a lot of resolve

RangRang a lot of times when in the ring and not relaxed your “fight or flight” mentality takes over and it tells you to fight and your body without realizing it starts doing things out of control and usually you throw big waste stamina and leave yourself open

Beautiful stoppage you don't see often. The ref saw just barely enough to recognize the fight was over. No unnecessary yet entertaining hammerfists needed.
Birchlers hands went straight down after that left, if the ref hadn't stopped it there would have been unecessary damage

Those saying "early stoppage" don't know how reffing works. Refs are trained to not only recognize how hurt a fighter is in the moment, but to gauge how competitive a fight is as a whole. Birchler was essentially a durable punching bag for the entire fight. And aside from having a puncher's chance, he was being outclassed. Good stoppage.
Early stoppage? Tell that to the refs like Mario "if he dies, he dies" yamazaki

Crute has a good skill set, he might be a little small for the division but he has a bright future. Good stoppage btw this is contender series not a high profile fight, no need to take pointless damage

Justanotherguy his frame is small for a light heavyweight in the UFC. There are quite a few middle weights bigger than he is. Height doesn't mean size.
this may not be high profile but it is high stakes and now Birchler will likely never get another shot to make mma a full time job

Cabesian he's a bit of a tweener. He'd be a big middleweight but he's a bit small for light heavy. He's pretty quick and light on his feet though which can be an advantage against bigger slower guys. I'm not sure on his grappling credentials, but against elite wrestlers he may be overpowered. Pros and cons

The Cage clearly caught him, held him up or he would have dropped! Love it when a Commentator is saying a fighter needs 2 do more to win a round....then they do a knock out move, fight stopped, Commentator suddenly stumbles back wards trying to patch up their unwise words, now they are presented with a win from the so called 'under dog'....BRILLIANT I love it!

bias announcers much? dang they where talking shit the whole time and birchler was walking onto the jab or right hand and then taking a step back with his head up and they didn't say a thing. Other guy was using great footwork in order to not get pinned. And they praised the wrestler for not wrestling... IDK man seems like these guys shouldn't be calling fights. And they even where talking shit about the stoppage.

Chance around the eyes is fleshy if your hit there you can bleed easy not a big deal or factor
@@niksarass The other dude threw nothing but jabs, and slow jabs at that. He had a huge reach advantage and could barely landed his distance strikes. Crute was exactly where he wanted to be all fight.

Chance some people bleed easily, look at the tale of the tape and see how much scar tissue each has on their eyes and you’ll see why he bled more. He landed cleaner shots more often and at a higher pace with more power. I mean he also would’ve merked birchler If it wasn’t for that great stoppage

I love they teach you that hiss to exhale when you strike in elementary school striking and some people dont adapt it into they're game they just keep hissing every punch and in a long form fight it can really limit your output and people can read that like a book.

i watched that stop at 25% speed. he yelled "stop!" and you can see crute's whole body shift in a microsecond, raise a few inches and lift that kick. such control!
I'm glad that last kick didn't land he was gone already! Great stoppage. Good to see a ref make a commitment. Stop it now and have a few say it was early or let it go and open the gate for the stretcher!

if this was a title defense i agree for early stoppage but this is contending a nice stop like this will allow you to get another chance a nd longer carret at th ebelt instead of a short time trying to contend for a shot at the belt.
